I am aware that Estarra does not want to fall into the trap of giving specific timelines for fear that circumstances will again disrupt those plans, but is it possible to ask when the work on aethercraft will begin again? I'm sort of waiting for them before making a full return to Lusternia, but I'm not sure if progress will only be -started- again a few weeks after the envoy summit.

Without giving specific dates or deadlines, are we looking at further days, weeks, or months?

Aethership specializations are something we've been eagerly anticipating for almost four months now, and while I know that no admin is going to give a definitive timeline for completion, I would very much like to know when the project will be restarted.

I have invested a lot of time and gold into preparing for aetherspace, and until those specializations and pecularities of aetherspace conflict are finalized it really isn't going to be worth much. I get that the decision to favour envoy reports was appropriate since it affects more of the playerbase (at this stage) than aetherships, but that doesn't mean I personally wish it was reversed.

I would offer to help wherever I can, but I know that there really isn't anything I can do other than be content that envoy reports are progressing smoothly, and to be patient. (Although if there is, please let me know!) I have and continue to await a time when our dedicated staff have enough resources to continue this project, without any blame for circumstances beyond their control, but after a few weeks I was just hoping to hear something on the status of the situation.

The next envoy summit is not until next month, and there will be further probably extremely significant changes that will need to be coded after it, so I do understand there may be quite a few more delays. While I am not going to be overly upset if we are looking at months before this project begins again, I would at least appreciate knowing not to expect it.

We have two projects theoretically scheduled for directly after the envoy reports and summits are finished, one of which is the Aethership specialisations. However, the thing that has thrown our scheduling most out of whack recently is the huge behind-the-scenes recoding that all IRE games are having to do at the moment, not to mention the myriad bugs that have arisen from it.

Therefore even if we were in the habit of giving timelines, I couldn't honestly give you one at this point, because I don't know exactly when those projects will be started, and I certainly don't know when they'll be finished.
