Forums are places for discussion. A forum is where the Roman Senate was held. Thus, we look to the Senate for examples. And, indeed, we digress into flashpoint issues at every opportunity. Thus, we're doing what we're supposed to do.

Surely you don't believe that discussions must inherently remain within their initial guidelines? That would make things rather boring. Hijacking allows for discussion of issues at hand, as related to the official topic. It's an important part of the functioning of a 'forum'.

A 'forum' implies dynamic discussion. If you want to strictly talk about things under listed titles, go find an encylcopedia and enjoy yourself.

A forum adresses a bunch of subjects that where set by the moderator, see senate and parlement. It often has a bunch of set topics, and then an end round for questions and varia. So we can expect you to remain on topic

Sure, discussion can change, but it shouldn't be flung so far off-course as to have nothing to do with the original topic, as so often happens. And this discussion of off-topicness is itself grossly off-topic, so let's be done with it, shall we?

As for guilds, Anisu, I'm curious as to why you're returning at all, though I supoose I will have to find out IC. Can't really give any advice until then.

well the reason is that Anisu is lighty, extremely lighty, she left Celest on account that Celest strayed from the light. She detests Serenwilde, hates taint and wyrd. So to keep a non rogue vs the world rp Returning to Celest was the only option. Plus I have some friends there.

Why not keep a rogue vs. the world RP? If Anisu hates every organization then the natural choice is to not be a member of any one of them, rather than going the easy route and ignoring her beliefs to skulk back to Celest so that she can use her skills, or whatever.
