Yeah, I meant the margin of error in curing is very tiny. Granted, the druid can't sleepwalk through it, and there's always that opportunity to escape, but...yeah. Help us come up with changes.

I think what tripped Torak up was this part of Xavius' statement, "It's one of those deals where the margin of error is very tiny." Saying that does give the impression that he was saying a druid does not have much room to make a mistake (i.e. it is hard to do).
Ah right that makes more sense, yea I took it the opposit way the margin for curing it is very small it isnt an insta win but you cant cure it every time and if the druid just keeps trying its bound to stick eventually because of the small margin.

how long does aeon last?
QUOTE(Mirk @ May 20 2006, 08:19 PM) 290114
I've heard 8 seconds
QUOTE(Xavius @ May 20 2006, 08:30 PM) 290118
I think aeon lasts something like 20 seconds.
In testing Moon Waning aeon a few minutes ago, I returned to the timesteam in 14-15 seconds(give or take some minor fractions of a second). Which isn't 8 or 20. Either aeon from different sources lasts different lengths, or we've got some misconceptions floating around. Can anyone get a time on aeon from another source?
Soll2006-05-29 21:23:07
Tarot Aeon is 8 seconds. Waning length depends upon the phase of the moon. It can last 30+ seconds in the right phase, to my knowledge.
Mirk2006-05-30 00:56:50
So I was half right...

Waning length does vary according to the Moon phase with, surprise surprise, the Waning Moon being most deadly.

Im working on my system to pass time and was wondering what do you feel is the best way to cure sap manually or through the system cause currently all i have it do is give an alert saying ive been hit with sap. Also is there a difference between rubbing a clease enchantment and pointing one at myself?
Terenas2006-06-04 02:32:17
Rubbing is better I believe since it bypasses blindness.
Unknown2006-06-04 02:48:46
Thanks now to the first question. How should actually make my sap curing work cause at the moment its all manual and im going ok for a person with out tumble?
Unknown2006-06-04 02:56:51
I think manual is best, because you don't know what the Druid will do to stick it. You can predict paralysis from the demesne, but it could also include a fused rune, an embedded mote, stagstomp, entanglement, transfixion, etc.
Edit: In case it wasn't clear, I meant sap curing being manual. Not your curing approach to everything.

Get a system and set it up well, you will never keep up with a good druid manually, automatically you may be able to if they screw up either way its pretty hard against a good druid.
