So I just purchased The Sims 2 University expansion (yes I'm behind, but to be fair I'm on a Mac so it's not THAT old) and am currently obsessed. Deas keeps yelling at me.

So what games are you guys currently addicted to, ASIDE from Lusternia because, obviously, that's a given.

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth (the first one).
Delta Force 2.
Several others that I no longer own.

Diablo 1 and 2 exp, i've been playing them with Steffan. All the "1337" punks can be annoying though.

Diablo 2 is always good for blowing off some steam.

*log on*

*slay a few of the endless minions of hell, their bodies lieing in piles on the ground*

*log off, frustration gone*

I love Diablo2 expansion (yay for assassin!) ... that's what I play especially when feeling frustrated and/or bloodthirsty. halo.gif Zenji could tell you we also tend to start over each time. "New characters!" hide.gif

What else do I play ... The Sims (1, not 2. and expansions, whee!), Age of Mythology: Titans, Morrowind (I think my computer would curl up and die if I asked it to play Oblivion crying.gif ) ... and some others, but those most often, I think. Tend to go in cycles, though. For a week or two I'll want to play one, then later on I'll be sick of it for awhile and play something else, etc.

Civilization IV.

Sounds like me, going through games in cycles. I just don't have enough games...
Oh yeah, I also like The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on PS2. Only problem is that I beat it within two days of getting it (or was it the first day?).

Lately it has been Super Mario World for SNES. Damn good game..

Rabeth's player bought me WoW but I couldn't really get into it. I'm not sure what it was; it just didn't capture my interest.

I love playing old SNES RPGs like the FF series, Chrono Trigger, Legend of Mana, Super Mario RPG. Actually most SNES games were really good. *nostalgia*

I'm currently playing through FEAR, which isn't as good as I was lead to believe. Or at least it's really different from what I was expecting.

I only rarely actually finish games though. I beat...Jedi Academy...um. Chrono Trigger. Wow, I just realized how long ago it's been since I actually finished a game. Half-Life 2! That was about a year ago. I usually get bored halfway through and just stop playing. I plan to go back to them eventually, but it takes awhile to revive my interest.

Edit: Oh! I did have a family of Sims that got to the top of their career paths and had a bunch of money, and I started getting the messages after the 100th day. But that was with the original game.

Oblivion. Oblivion, Oblivion, Oblivion? Oblivion Oblivion.

I like Oblivion.

I've also been playing some retro horror games like the original Res. Evil and Silent Hill, and some Shadows of Isildur, which is an extremely RP-intensive MUSH/MUD.

Half Life 2. Yay for killing stuff with the gravity gun!

I, too, have been cycling through my games. Two months ago, I spent a few weaks playing the Metroid series up to Metroid Prime.

Then I went on to Legend of Zelda where I got stuck at the water temple in LOZ-MM and replaced it with Curse of Monkey Island and Secret of Monkey Island.

Currently I'm playing the NES Spy hunter (Impossibly difficult) in between attempts to get "Lechuck's Revenge" to play, with sound, on XP.... during the times I manage to get my on-board sound card working that is.

Adding to the list of games that I enjoy:
Civilization I
Civilization II
Sid Meir's Colonization
Sid Meir's Gettysburg
Squidsoft.net's games (just wish they hadn't shut down)
Occasionally, God Wars II and Battletech: Frontier
Several other super old games that I've got and can't remember the names to at the moment.
I think that just about covers everything that I've got...

age of empires 3, starcraft and that dofus arena game.
