Wiccans and druids do okay as furrikin, just need to be careful what you tank, and would most likely want to trans Moon/Night or take ecology for the resist amulets. Resist is always useful, but it's especially necessary as a low-con race.
With 14 charisma, psionic mages may do okay as well. Not going to be *amazing*, but definitely won't fall over and die immediately either!

If you go Wiccan, magic type damage will tickle. Barely.
Furrikin can do pretty much anything. Nothing really well, but nothing too bad. Better at magic than weapons, with low str, but not completely terrible.

They are nigh unbeatable dreamweavers.

I'm not spending any money on credits so...I'm trying to find something that'll be fun but don't have to spend money to be able to do anything.
EDIT: I was thinking Mugwump Aquamancer, Human Geomancer, Furrikin rougish warrior type, or Aslarna Druid

Warrior type is BAD if you don't want credits. BAD BAD BAD. Furrikin warrior won't do all that great, either. You'd be a lot better off being a furrikin Druid or a furrikin telekinetic/telepathic mage, as you can get the staff / cudgel somewhat early in the skillset instead of waiting for trans.

Which one would be easiest out of tyhe ones I listed?
Daganev2006-05-26 18:53:49
I'm guessing the Human geomancers... what you will lack in credits you will be able to enjoy with the xp bonus and eventually have the fun of seeing your stats grow.

Furrikin Druid (either Hartstone or Blacktalon) for Cudgel and dreamweaving might be fun. You get to do things like sneak behind enemy lines and snoop on what they are doing. Dreamweaving will only help you in minor ways for PvP and PvE, but it's a very unique skill-set if you're looking for fun in that way.
Guess I'm not sure if fun for you is heavy bashing, or fun little skills to play with in secret.
Edit:Oh, it's not to terribly hard to get a few characters up to lvl 30 or 50, and alts are allowed, as long as they don't interact with each other(might want to read help seconds). You can always make all of the above things you are interested in, and pick between them later.

So I'm banned from giving him additional options?
Edit:Oh, Aquamancers and Geomancers have dreamweavers as well. Though honestly I don't see why anyone would pick dreamweaving over the tele-skills they have.

Yes! Yes you are!
Don't tell me you didn't read the "Wesmin giving additional options clause" (Section 27664.343410.243b) of the terms of use agreement you signed in blood before playing Lusternia?
No cookie for you!

A good dreamweaver can be just as good as a psionicist in a demense, if not better.

True, but dreamweaving doesn't really do that much. You can annoy the hell out of people, every so often get lucky and kill someone, but it's more for sneaking and spying and such.
Shamarah2006-05-27 01:32:46
Furrikin make good druids and wiccans.

Warriors are the second best type close to first for begin good with low ammounts of credits, all warriors need is weaponry and they are off to a flying start able to do a lot, druids easily come out on top of warriors though with sap/demense for fights but warriors with just weaponry seem better off than mages with just aquamancy/geomancy.
Furrikin are pretty much the average race though for casters and poor races for warriors, furrikin arn't bad just faelings and mainly mugwumps are better basically for casters and a ton of other races are better than furrikin for warriors.

I LOVED my furrikin blacktalon druid, but then I went from super tanky human warrior to not so tanky furry druid. So it was a nice change.

Untrue.
It can be great for RP, as Faethyr, while being quite feisty, prefers the subtle approach to battle... It is his dream to possess Daevos one day in the middle of a raid, and make him have a nap. . I seriously contemplated giving him Psionics, which was what Ytraelux had, but it seemed too...
GGRRRRAAAAAARRRRRRR!
-ish. I prefer spying to blowing someone's brain up. I got to explore Glomdoring that way!

Not quite. A decent demesne + staff will be far more effective than a decent bit of knighthood against mid-range combatants, and then you also need a *very good* weapon on top of that in order to actually see ANY effectiveness whatsoever. You can have all the trans skills you want, but if your weapon is a piece of junk, well...
It's only against complete newbies that I'd say knighthood would be a bit superior, which means if you plop an artery they won't know to eat yarrow, or won't sip sanguine to cure a scalping. Still, if you're fighting someone like that, they're going to die to your demesne pretty quickly anyways even if you don't assist it.
Shamarah2006-05-27 14:04:10
If you're going to TRANS just one skill, a warrior with transed knighthood would be better than a mage with transed elementalism.
