Yeah...between trans blademaster and trans wicca, ceteris paribus, I know which one I'd choose.

If you had to use current cap weapons and couldn't afford to pay the 100cr a piece that the nice weapons coming out,, I'd take wicca

Good weapons are incredibly expensive. Look at the prices Ekard charges for his works, they're usually around 50k per, though most of that goes in to cover the comm cost. To be a fully functional warrior is incredibly costly. You'll always need at least two weapons, but most likely at least 4. Then there's the cost of armor, helm, and poisons. Four master weapons will cost you at least 120k worth of comms, more if you bought good ones, a fieldplate will run between 8k to 10k, a helm about 3k. As for poisons, I've sold poisons for up to 5k a vial, and you'll want at least one of 4-5 most commonly used poisons. You won't spend less than 150k gold for equipments that's for sure.

My standard doublesling costs 200 gold. That's per attack. Fusing ger sets me back another 150. That's per room, lost when the demesne is. It all evens out, but yours is just more expensive up front.

Not that it affects your final totals much, but quoting the price at which you sold a vial of charybdon to a desperate enemy ecologist is misleading. glare.gif

You're not the only one I ripped off on Poisons. biggrin.gif And runes can be expensive, I agree! I've sold 6 runes at 1k per before. smile.gif

I was a Mage before so I knew how expensive runes can be (does anyone even have Runes nowaday?). The thing is I still have to replace my weapons/armor/poisons even when I don't fight since they all decay whereas things like Tarot cards or Runestones never do. So you don't have to spend money on them when you don't want to fight but I have to regardless. Not to mention if you go dormant and come back you'll be spending quite a bit to replace all your decayed equipments, much more than any other classes.

1k each? Holy hell.

Absolute best thing about being a Moondancer is that I can feasibly bash without spending a single piece of gold, if I'm careful. As much as I'm dormant nowadays, that really counts. In Achaea, I had to rat up 500 gold with freaking kick before I could wish up a blackjack, and if I wasn't level 73 and getting crits, I'd have gone insane.

Me. After the shiny factor wore off, I realized that runes is actually better offensively than ecology (and dreamweaving just plain isn't my style). I do miss my charm and transmigration, though!

Tzara uses runes.
