Looking through it, it seems like either Shamarah, Ashteru, or Azael has the double vote. Considering that Azael already roleclaimed (though I'm not sure why he wouldn't sacrifice himself for the Aquamancer Champion- care to comment, Azael?), it would be one of the two remaining.

Hmph, if I was some scum, I'd have killed Azael and be over it...wouldn't he be the most obvious choice? I mean, someone who can sacrifice himself for someone maybe more important...I don't get why he wasn't killed. He seems most scummy to me.

Actually, I'm going to vote: Ashteru right now. I get an itchy feeling from this post.

And generally, I'd have to say that he wasn't killed because a) he was protected, or the scum decided to let him be and try to lynch him during the day by calling him scum. I want a response from him about why he hasn't used his sacrifice ability, yes-- but no, I don't want to lynch him.

Yesterday it was either Shamarah, Ashteru, or Azael but that doesn't necessarily mean that it still is today. There is a role--can't remember the name of it though--that lets you make someone else's role count as double.

Personally my guess would be Shamarah, for reasons I'll illustrate late.

Remember that at that point, there had not yet been a night during which to invest that power.

Daganev seemed pretty convinced that Ashteru was a Geomancer/scummy person. And we later learned that Daganev was the Aquamancer champion. So it would make sense for him to have some connection to the Geomancer. Either through demesne or psionics (although Mitch is a dreamweaver, if that's relevant at all).

He did say he was beginning to doubt Ashteru's scumminess after he did all of the blathering about sparring for Moon.

It also just occured to me that we had a day start, so he wouldn't have been able to scry anyone, or whatever his ability was. Oh well. I still want to hear Ashteru roleclaim.

I think what Xenthos is saying is that you're claiming that Daganev was in your group, but Daganev spent almost his entire time playing trying to convince people to kill you off.

Would you care to explain what he stood to gain by offing you?

To distract that we were in the same group? I did the same. *shrug*

Then why would you suddenly switch around now, instead of before he died? He's not around to contradict you any more.

Wow, I'm so suprised I'm still alive...

A few things:
1) I have NO IDEA why the scum didn't kill me... Conceivably for the reason Xenthos said, I dunno.
2) If someones already dead, I can't sacrafice. I only sacrafice before they die (I choose someone each night to protect). I hope I wasn't unclear about that...
3) I too want to know what happened with that vote... I suspect its an ability. To prevent this from happening again, I'll FOS ASHTERU because he seems awfully suspicious - but I'm not ready to lynch right away.
4) Forren, I roleclaimed a page ago. You can read it yourself.

I'm going to go back and look at the voting patterns to see who had the double vote there. It's obvious it was not me, I'd had someone at 6 votes before earlier and it didn't tip the scales, so someone else who had voted Daganev obviously has that power.

Already did this, but doublechecking doesn't hurt, I suppose!

If Azael was protected, and the scum tried to kill him at night, there wouldn't have been a night kill.

I think the scum wouldn't have waited for a day lynch specially since people is going to be very very careful with votes now that we've lost two defenders. Basically, he has a power that would allow him to ress somebody with a much more important power.

So vote Azael because he looks damm scummy to me.

About Daganev and Astheru, it's very much Daganev style to complicate things and so it doesn't surprise me much he was attacking Astheru tactically to distract attention. On the other hand, the scum knows who's not scum so doing that means there's several groups?



Second post:
With much more important role I am thinking he could ress a vigilante that could kill the scum and win the game or something like that. If I can think this, the scum can too and would have been crazy not to kill him or at least try.
