Well I have no idea what you were trying to say, Tsae. Can I vote for you for confusing me? :S.

Sham, I just remember you complaining about noobs killing you day one, or something tongue.gif. I can play the nood if it gets some giggles.

What the Nil kind of code is that? I like patterns and all that, but I'm not seeing one in your message.
Daganev2006-05-29 02:02:11
FOS Quid

being too annoying for my tastes, and doing strange things.
Daganev2006-05-29 02:15:57
FOS Reqium same reason as quid.

Well you could get a 3-2-1-2-3 code going if he keeps the votecount in that order tongue.gif.

Annd grr I'm either annoying, which gets me killed, or aggressive, which gets me killed. I should just lurk and see what happens.

lurking is always a good way to defend yourself in an orderly fasion.

ofcourse, if I'm wrong I'll get burnt to Ash.

But now I want to hear some things from forren and the other silent folk.
Tekora2006-05-29 03:48:43
At this point, I'm sticking with my Azael vote. I'll save my suspicions and FoS's for tomorrow. And suspicions I do have.
Shamarah2006-05-29 11:27:16
FOS: Daganev. Did you just say lurking is a GOOD thing?
Unknown2006-05-29 11:50:08
Everyone on the other thread was complaining about how tame our Mafia games were. I'm just trying to generate useless fluff in the attempt to get a chance to play mind games. Plus it really did make me itch when Azael voted for Tsaephai again.

So right now we have Quid and me as harmless talkers, which is a good thing because the more we talk, the more likely we would be to make a mistake and reveal ourselves if we were scum. And Daganev, the grumpy one who votes for talking people and says that lurking is good. The only people who really benefit from not talking are the scum.

Now, to vote for Azael for making my head crawl, or Daganev for being a wet blanket...?

Unvote: Tsaephai
Vote: Azael
Sorry. I'm petty.
FoS: Daganev

What makes me so confusing? I don't get it...

Hazar accused Tsaephai, Tsaephai defended himself, and I said I agreed with his defence, and suddenly that makes me the scum?

and not to be a complete noob, but what does FoS mean?
Unknown2006-05-29 15:40:34
Finger of Suspicion. It doesn't actually do anything, it's just a formal way of saying that you find a particular person fishy, and are quite likely going to vote for them in the future. It's a kind of warning.

Usually it evokes some form of response if enough people do it to the same person.
Unknown2006-05-29 16:15:24
Finger of Suspicion. It's just a way of saying someone has your interest but not quite enough of it to make you vote against them.

Well I was ninja'd wasn't I?

About it evoking a response though, I tend to ignore it. It's been my experience that people just throw it about carelessly and trying to scramble to justify your actions against it can be counter-productive.
Xenthos2006-05-29 16:43:43
I find that the FOS is better used to say that I am likely to vote, without actually voting. As to whether or not it evokes a response... three votes and three FOS's do tend to do that, since an FOS (used correctly) is very close to being a vote.

He is right that it often isn't used correctly, though. happy.gif

I could be wrong but I think this is my first time ever using FoS. Just wanted to share.
Daganev2006-05-29 17:29:33
People talking is good. However, I find that if only one or two people are talking, its a good time to stay quite.

I still want to hear from forren and ASHteru.

Vote Count
Azael (Tekora, Tsaephai, Forren, Daganev, Requiem dot exe) – 5
Tsaephai (Ashteru, Hazar, Archer2) – 3
Hazar (Azael) – 1
Shamarah (Quidgyboo) – 1
Requiem dot exe (Xenthos) – 1
Quidgyboo (Shamarah) – 1

Not Voting:

7 to Lynch.
Daganev2006-05-29 17:31:55
Also, I'd like to know how many groups there are. Do you think Fain and Raezon have thier own subgroups? Is Serenwilde a subgroup or are they just more townies?

Info like that can help us quite a bit I think.
Forren2006-05-29 17:36:59
So yeah.. Azael just seems suspicious. That's why my vote's there.
Daganev2006-05-29 17:50:37
At this point, its all just too confusing... hmm I see Azael here, I should wait for him to post, but either way...

UNVOTE

I need to reread the thread -BEFORE- I post...

I'm curious what people think of Ashteru, he posted a vote, and has been silent ever since...
