No idiot, save for someone suicidal, would shout to a being, much less a God that they know can incinerate them without a second thought - only his outside knowledge that he could come back to life for certain allowed him to be that disrespectful.

I don't recall being pally with you, I'd ask you not to call me 'Vira' in such a carefree manner. Viravain is not terribly difficult to write.

And for the record, it is not that a jab was made at a Divine. It was that something that in any other case would get said person slammed very harshly for sexual harassment was used against a Divine, due to an OOC Dare, also using OOC knowledge that his character could not truly die as a result of Terentia's wrath for saying such things to Her. Forgive me, as I have never found sexual harassment towards another player, or another fellow volunteer 'hilarious'.



I believe I summed my explanation up just above, as has Xenthos just below. Forgive me again, as I fail to find your opinion of myself worth much, if anything. Especially considering you've made it apparent that such a gross display of disrespect is perfectly acceptable, even funny as long as it is towards a Divine, especially one who is a volunteer.

Not really OOC, he thought it, spoke his mind on an OOC clan, then was dared. He didn't have to and his character technically "thought" of it, and was taking time to think on what to do. It's not OOC information he shouted.

Me thinking of something != Xenthos thinking of something, by the way. I sometimes have OOC comments on certain situations that Xen would never even dream of thinking, much less saying.

His character didn't think of it. His OOC self thought of it and asked to be dared to say it. It wasn't until he was dared that he did in fact say it.

Meaning that based on "OOC clan" discussion he acted IC.

I think the real issue is the idea that you can disrespect a being ingame knowing full well that you will not suffer any real long-term permanent damage. In all truth, unless you're playing an extremly F'ed up (and I don't think any of us know how to really roleplay someone so mentally abnormal that we do not fear beings with practically infinite power to destroy us) then your character should be acting as though what they say and do towards the Divine can have grave impacts on his or her life.

Can you prove his character wouldn't have thought of it? No.

Everything his character thinks his player obviously has to think. So, saying he OOCly thought it does not mean he didn't think it IC.

You people REALLY need to get a grip on how characters and players are connected.
