Well my 360 came in today and I do say I love it. Been playing Halo2 for about 9 hours straight at a time, but I was wondering if anyone else has a 360 and could recomend some games to check out. Also if you have xbox live and play halo my names Viciouse3. not super good but hey I can still get the job done.

Burnout: Revenge is simply amazing, and the multiplayer on it is being heavily used by myself and a few other IRE employees. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is also an excellent game, if you like RPGs. In the sports genre I'd say the best is either Top Spin 2 (tennis) or Fight Night Round 3 (boxing), though there are many others as there always are. For a beat-'em-up I'd have to go with Dead or Alive 4, and for a shooter I'd definitely say Call of Duty 2, with Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter a close second simply because it's not your usual shooter. If you like adventurey, puzzle-solving games I'd also recommend Tomb Raider: Legend.

yeah but until halo 3 it's the only halo about and I loved playing it. So i play on my 360. Going to get call of duty 2 too

Call of Duty 2 looks amazing, TES4: Oblivion is amazing, there's some really great games coming out, but go out to the Xbox Live Arcade, and download some games. Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, the one marble game, Zuma, and Mutant Storm Reloaded are all games I have, and they're very good.

Keep an eye out in the coming months though, there are some real nice ones, like Gears of War.

Gears of War does look amazingly sweet, I'm just pissed off that Epic STILL won't give even a vague release date. They're still just saying 2006.

I think I'm going to get an Xbox 360 now, since the Playstation 3 looks like it's going to suck... will release for 599 U.S. retail too, and their presence at E3 was a very poor showing.

I do think the Wii looks really fun though.

If you have something xbox, Halo 2 is a required purchase. Then you need xbox live. I'm dying to have a lusternia clan on live

I think all three of them have very strong potential, though E3 did leave a sour taste in some mouths, in regards to the PS3. Only time will tell!

The Wii looks gimicky, but the whole novelty as to how you control the games look like it could really add alot of depth to games, and make them more fun for an entirely different reason. It'll definitely be interesting.

I initially thought it might be a gimmick, but everyone thought that about the Gameboy DS (two screens?? touch screen??). The uses for the new controllers are quite interesting, especially in titles such as the new Zelda game.

Yea, that's what I'm referring too. I was very intrigued by how people played with it. Zelda looked really fun, because it was just so unique.

I wonder if third party developers will actually take advantage of the design, or if anything other then first party games will actually be playable with that control setup.

Yeah, I'm holding out for the Wii also. If the developers use it correctly, the motion sensing could make for some incredible games.
