You may be thinking of Forren.

Inquisition is extremely powerful, but it does cost quite a bit of power and mana to attempt it, same with Sap. On the other hand, Heartburst requires nothing to set up, and just 5 power to instantly kill someone through all defenses and status. Heartburst is reminding me more and more of the old Assault/Sweep, you either run and heal after 2 hits, or you stay and die, even hindering won't help you against as Mage unlike a Warrior.

Ahh but assault/sweep wasn't even that quick unless you were fighting a tank with an arti'd sword or champ helm... how quickly we forget. blush.gif Heartburst needs no artifact boosts, a novice with enough skill in telekenitics could kill you as fast as a titan. Only thing is the novice better move around quick and not get hit. biggrin.gif

You didn't need an artie sword or helm. It's not all that hard to obtain extreme wounding with high enough Strength and Precision. With 230 precision weapons and high enough strength I could double Lunge a non-warrior from no wounds into critical.
ferlas2006-06-04 10:53:28
Even without arties the max wounding anyone I ever felt was 1800 thats two assaults for 3600 wounding, thats critical you apply once and you avoid the behead. Never move your parry from your head stance legs and pureblades and axelords couldn't touch you anyway aside from slit lock. But I do agree its the same idea Ill do this one thing thats pretty simple to do over and over again until it works and you die, a la sap inquisition heartburst etc etc, combat is just so simple and gets pretty dull after a while.
