Whatever happens after this doesn't really matter, the fact is the admins stepped in and every player said, "LOOK, A SHINY NEW GOD!". Also, during an event people will pretty much say '**** it' to their roleplay if it means continuing the event and getting to see cool stuff happen. I'm as pissed at Serenwilde's populace as I am at the admins.
If you know nothing about our roleplay, could you kindly shut up?

There's an escape clause in that contract, you know. All you've gotta do is let Hart drop again.
If you're really intent on keeping up the status quo, you can talk to your shiny new Elder and see if you can't get him to figure out the trick of keeping Hart alive without having to depend on us, and then break the agreement with no issue, but that's just what I'd do.
In the meantime, excuse me while I cackle over this glorious victory.

Well yeah, when an opportunity like that presents itself Glomdoring takes it. You guys weren't made to change anything, just to go along with the rest of what was happening.
Unknown2006-06-11 03:00:15
As Lisaera just pointed out in the other thread, anyone who thinks Glom and Seren are now friends needs to have their head examined.
Serenwilde was forced into an agreement, that is going to lead to baaaad blood.
Did you ever think that the Crow vs Hart quest might re-emerge now? I see the set up for it. Grutina is pushed onto Glomdoring, and Grutina hates the centaurs/Hart. Crow likes to eat Centaur colts. Hmm.
Nah, that could never happen. Just go on whinning.

There honestly is no reason for us to explain the details of the agreement, or even what was actually agreed to OOC, nor why we did it. Especially with all the metagaming trolls around here.
EDIT: In other words, those who think every single IC action needs to be subjected to an OOC tribunal needs to have your IQ reevaluated. Grow up.

Thank you, Lisaera, very much, for the end.
As an apology for everyone who was waiting overlong for the post, when I left shortly after, I'd been on for 25 hrs, 40 minutes. Stupid on my part, probably. But I love this game. Please, remember that.

That is the thing. We couldn't. We were specifically told by a denizen (Miakoda) and Charune that we needed your help to bring him back. That He couldn't be brought back when a part of him was keeping the spirits back.

I will say this though - remember that IRE subscribes to a policy of spectator RP. Lusternia is not an RPI. OOCly speaking, we were given no other choice, and if you think we had another choice or another way of ending the event, then you did not know the entire situation. OOCly, what happened was going to happen regardless of anything we did, or what we wanted IC or OOC.
Stop judging us OOC based on our IC actions. Feel free to have your characters dislike or hate us or think we made the wrong "choice" or whatever, but OOC, stop being such trolling idiots.

I thought the event was great. I had a blast. Thank you for another awesome opportunity to roleplay.
Unknown2006-06-11 03:09:39
looks like the main good/bad parts are over.
Crow/Hart got a new skill, those guys should be happy as well.

basically Kalodan screwed us over. Many, Many, many people in serenwilde opposed us doing LOTS of the crap the got us into this situation ( even though it was on an OOC level, inevitable). We were basically told to shut up by th ehigher powers ( not the admins ). So yeah, don't be mad at us.

*agreed*
To clarify my previous post, I did not mean any sort of judgement about the IRE style of events. Like Shayle, I had a blast, and truly enjoyed myself for the first time in a long while.

Kalo in no way "screwed us over."

I went through a whole range of emotions during this event(awe/shock/hopelessness/fear to name a few), it truly was a well planed and thought out one.
Unknown2006-06-11 03:21:24
Ok.. so I found out what Crow users got.. but what about Stag uuusers? Somebody telll me!
Daganev2006-06-11 05:58:24

No, not really. I think its an unintential side-effect. We got an ability which allows us to give up our lifeforce to heal others.
Daganev2006-06-11 06:00:35
So you got sacrifice trueheal? kinda interesting.
