Argh, I don't want to go human. tongue.gif I want to play Igasho, and I am going to make it work no matter how hard it is. The only thing I really need right now, i'll state again is Aeon affliction/unaffliction messages and instant kill messages. The rest, at least offensive-wise, is going to be tested. smile.gif

Just to show that i'm tanky.. here you go.

CODE
8892h, 2100m, 4808e, 10p, 28458en elr-

CODE
ADVANTAGES:
o  Have a racial language, igasho.
o  Have a level 2 resistance to cutting damage.
o  Have a level 2 resistance to blunt damage.
o  Have a level 2 resistance to magic damage.
o  Have a level 1 resistance to cold.
o  Have a level 1 resistance to poison damage.
  o  Regenerate health, level 1.
o  Faster herb balance, level 1.
o  Native Weapon: Igasho warriors who choose the Blademastery
specialization can use one-handed swords more accurately than other
     races.

At my level, i'm shrugging all and most toxins thrown at me, faster herb balance helps with curing to stay alive in the affliction aspect. I can tank 7 virgins on astral with ease. I am the -tank-. So I just need those messages biggrin.gif

The problem is that with those disadvantages, you will never kill anyone.

Well if combat is any way like it unfolds with you Amaru, i'll be fighting with a team. That's all you do. laugh.gif
So i'll just beat on the person who's already being beaten on. Mad skillz, right?
Unknown2006-06-06 20:05:59
Actually, you couldn't be more wrong. I prefer to fight in duels. If I jump someone, it is generally just me. When I bring a team, it is to stop the enemy from escaping, not because I can't beat them individually. There is no one in the game who I'm afraid to fight alone, though I'm more cautious with overpowered Titans like Athana, who could kill me with two straight 2.4k mindblasts if given the chance.

I think your point is moot when you jump me in a gravedigger pit WITH Malicia to constantly web me, even when I can't escape, just to kill me. dry.gif

Still need those messages..

Actually she just happened to be following me when I teleported, and all she did was shieldstun once. It barely affected anything.

Web, shieldstun, among other things. tongue.gif
Unknown2006-06-06 20:21:09
dunno.gif I didn't see you making an effort to fight back anyway..

Drawback of 19 size when Fortuna goes wrong and you have a girl with a web reflex to nail you as soon as she sees you. doh.gif You used judgement, this is part of the reason I need instant kill messages, so I can notice them and attempt to stop them.

If you're sticking with Igasho I would personally go with Rapiers over Scimitars. The speed vs. wounding tradeoff is easily compensated by your Strength, likewise with the damage. Since you're an Igasho you'll want Elemental runes on your broadswords as well (assuming you didn't already have them) to take full advantage of your Strength.

Runes will be something i'll work towards. All this misc help is useful in telling me what artis to get and what weapons to use, haha. Though, it aint as important as me getting those messages I keep on asking for.

AEON & INSTANT KILLS

Amaru stands a tarot on his open palm, and blows it lightly at you. Suddenly your movement through the time stream is slowed.

Thank you. I went out of my way to get the Moondancer one. Sap is the last one I need to get yet. dry.gif
ferlas2006-06-07 13:03:20
sap:
^With a grim smile, * touches the trees and sap courses out in a thick syrup that lunges at you, coating you in the viscid liquid.

^The sticky sap coating your body causes you to move unbearably slowly.$

Judge started-
%1 calls down a beam of brilliant light upon you.
judge going on-
and the column of light obediently moves to envelop you, a voice whispering in

Soulless being flung-
flings a tarot card at you and upon impact, it disappears

astrology aeon- note this wont always give aeon.
* the power of Aapek lashes down upon you.

cat aeon- same message strips speed and aeons
Patchou the Moon Cat stares at you with her eerie silvery-green eyes.

moon aeon- same message strips speed and then aeons
With a slow, jerking dance, * points at you *

sap curing message-
your armpits trying to wash away that sticky sap

aeon cure-
^You return to the normal timestream.$

You are going to be very limited as a damage warrior with the recent changes now that lunge gives no additional damage and you won't be doing any damage to some classes until you get elemental runes.
ferlas2006-06-07 13:31:03
Actually now I think of it a wounding warrior blademaster is more powerful in group combat than a damage warrior, wounding comes on on top in group and solo it seems.
Unknown2006-06-07 18:00:46
I've figured out a way to pull off pinlegs in one combo, or gut impales, or 3-4k head damage. This was without toxins, so stupidity and slickness would be enough to make that damage stick for considerably longer for slitthroat or behead. Anything really.
ferlas2006-06-07 18:08:21
With average or good wounding swords you can pin leg in one lunge combo. You can't pin leg in one lunge combo with damage swords.

Only with high strength. Sorry.
Terenas2006-06-07 18:09:58
Against non-warriors, yes. Against someone in fieldplate or better you'll be hard pressed to pinleg in 4 Lunges, let alone 2.

With high strength or Champion Helms. Lyco was able to pinleg Torak with two lunges with weapons possessing high precisions.

Champion helm was bugged and giving twice the bonus it should have. It still does enhance, but not as much now.
