I have heard some rumors lately of a possiable Wind and Fire city (Gaudiuach or whatever and Halliflax?)
I am jus wondering, because it sounds awesome.

Yes, Gaudigach is the city that has Pyromancers, the Illuminati, and then some type of wyvern riders. Hallifax is the city that has the Aeromancers and I guess the Matrix Research Institute. If you read the histories that are on the website you can find more about Gaudigach and Hallifax.

The rumours are true, but don't expect them to be released any time soon. Some players have been intrigued by their mention in the histories since the game opened, but I'd say it would be at least a year before any new organizations come out.

Well I guessed, that seeing as how two new mage types will be made, and six guilds, two citys, politics, and they are enrolling people to positions I believe... I am hoping that the Warrior skills will be slightly altered, instead of maybe rituals we get some thing else.
Sorry for double posting, but maybe they will also include a few new races (2) for it, or maybe trill will get a racial bonus and maybe dracnari will also.

Dracnari is the race for Gaudigach and it's Lucidian and Trill for Hallifax. No one's exactly sure how Trill and Lucidian will change in accordance with specializations.

Heh, read the history, but don't expect them. Pretty much what it comes down to.

I still sit by my theory that Gaudiguch was conquered by Hallifax when they were both shifted out of reality, thus leaving us with Trill as the spec race for Hallifax, Lucidians for Gaudiguch, and Dracnari as little slaves who toil for the well being of both.
Everiine2006-06-07 06:59:20
Ick, that would make Everiine (Trill) and his mate (Dracnari) seem awkward... I much prefer the idea that the battle was frozen as well, and when/if the cities are released, we will have a battle to deal with.
Vix2006-06-07 16:16:36
The lost forest of Ackleberry should also be released at a later time (as in, you get married and have kids and they go to college later time). Okay, I exaggerate, but that makes three new guilds as well.

To save Viravain the time posting here, she has officially said that none of the lost organizations will be released until there's a playerbase large enough to support them.
But it should be frickin' awesome when they do come out.

hm... what if instead of being frozen in time, Hallifax and Gaudiguch were -accelerated- so that they're millenia ahead of the rest of the basin? hee, trill shock troopers with blasty laser guns and missile launchers and dracnari with scary firey things of doom.... *daydream* probably not, but hey, one can dream.

I have seen the future, its not what it use to be.

Advantages...
We can get air conditioning installed in our cities and communes since we will learn the ways of the Aeromancer.
We will have a huge barbeque grill because the eternal flame will shown once again.
We can expect many players to be flying and burning.
Aquamancers will pawn Pyromancers, Pyromancers will benifit from Aeromancers but Geomancers will have no match against Aeromancers.
Disadvantages:
Hunting grounds will be crowded, many will be pissed off
Not enough players to run those cities

You've never tried flying in a Geo demesne, have you?
Vix2006-06-08 19:15:36
Aeromancers will have permanent levitation?

Do Merians have wings?

Why should I assume that you've never had an alt capable of flight?
But just to tell you..flying in a Geo demesne doesn't usually work out very well.
Unknown2006-06-09 00:38:59
Flying in any demesne doesn't work well. Geomancers have stone rain, druids have treebane, and Aquamancers have some sort of hail or rain effect that knocks down flyers.
Tervic2006-06-10 06:01:55
Flying in geo demesne... bad, bad, BAAAAAaaad idea. It hurts the heads, it does...

Actually, Druids doesn't really do anything. Treelife just pulls you into the tree, and that's all.
