Ritual to destroy Wyrd is worse than "Sorry, I feel that I need to move on. Thank you all for your support and so on and so forth." Just FYI. I'm sure you can see that. happy.gif

It also wouldn't have fit Ashs character then. tongue.gif

Erm. Yeah. Well since you've changed "ash's character" like three times, I guess not. Remember losing your memory and devoting yourself eternally to Lady Viravain and Crow and all that good stuff?

Oh...right...now I see how destroying the Wyrd fits in.... rolleyes.gif

Moondancers do anti-tainting rituals on certain people, I honestly don't see a difference between the two. Or why such a non-difference would elicit a reaction that would spawn these multiple 'hate glomdoring' and 'hate the glomdoring haters' threads, which this seems to have.

Maybe Magnagora doesn't care if the taint gets destroyed. However, we do care when people are messing with the Wyrd, especially when the person who performed the ritual said that it was being done as an "experiment" on the Wyrd.

Christ, who cares about Glomdoring anymore?

First there was excessive bitching to have it released, then there was excessive bitching about the role it took, and now there's excessive bitching about them being isolationist despite the fact it makes perfect god damned sense. Let's just ignore the stupid wyrdoes (tee-hee) and get on with what matters.

Wierd, my sources must be pyschic...

Days before Ashteru left, I was told to look out for attempts to destroy the wyrd from the nihilists...

But I don't work with official glomdoring leaders, but thats just wyrd!

Eich.....I never said I destroy the Wyrd, no? I complained about being made the reason for a war again. *twiddle*

And I don't see what's so bad about changing character that you have to emphasize it. And you are wrong, it was more like five or six times. *shrug* Who cares. I play this game to have my fun, not to stay true to a character I wrote down and outlined and all that shit. Ash has some fundaments, and I have my fun rebuilding the house on it.

There is a big difference between spot-rp, (which I applaud ash for, rather then taking the easy way out and leaving on friendly terms, and then slaughtering people he used to know the next day for seemingly no reason) and some new Trans nihilism skill, which instantly destroy the wyrd.

So, spot-RP should have no consequences whatsoever, no matter what the outcome of it is?

Well, we've had plenty of that in divine events? Haven’t we? "Look it's an event, we'll ignore all RP, and swarm around it until it stops, at which time we'll go back to normal!" I don't agree with it per-say, but it has the same basis, under the same circumstances, a veil of RP (sometimes a really nifty one, as people get very creative) is laid over something so that an end can be achieved, in that case a new quest/zone/skill set in this case a change in nation.

In any case it's not good for spot-rp to be the solo basis for declaring WAR on a nation for how a single individual reacts, every nation has members that don't fit into the norms, life goes on much the same as it always has, but with the moderates slightly worse for wear.

Unless this is all blown out of proportion, in which case everyone needs to lay off Ash's back.

It seems to be a Shadow/Iron Counsel matter, not a "one time glom, one time mag, citizen" problem.

Oh, and sometimes RP can go over the edge as well, did you know that Celest officially bans their novices from killing finks/gnomes in Newton? Talk about extreme. blink.gif

Why are you trying to give Glom/Mag reasons not to fight? Everyone kept telling Glom and Mag to fight before they dared suggest Seren and Celest duke it out. Well, they've now done what you've all been asking.

And Kahazul is a GM, he represents Magnagora. If he is experimenting in an attempt to destroy the Wyrd, and Daevos doesn't care.. I'd call that an act of war.
