Actually, it wasn't the sole basis. However, when the "spot-RP" was done by a sitting member of the Iron Council who stated that he was experimenting on the Wyrd, it does obviously raise our eyebrows. It did decelerate from that point, obviously.

Unless you want to say that the org leaders shouldn't be responsible for their actions, too.

It was basically the same thing, a ritual to remove the wyrd that had been in ash I think. Same as the super anti taint rituals from celest and serenwilde. Glom basically got pissed that ash left and started the whole session what went back and forth for a bit resulting in bans on both sides.

It all seems pretty fun anyway.

When teh moondancers and Celest do thier anti taint rituals, I don't think they do it in the middle of magnagora.. but I could be wrong.

Uh, no. He did it in Magnagora. Ashteru called for help, I came into Magnagora and dragged him out and back into the Glomdoring. Lyco and I then played "catch" with Ashteru for a bit, until he walked back to Magnagora and the ritual finished. (Which is kind of what I mean about the whole way he did it not being all that great! )

Right. So the equivalent seems to be us doing it in Serenwilde.

When you do it in Serenwilde, the people you're doing it to don't generally call for help, do they? And then get Magnagoran officials to come and observe the "ritual"?

Some stuff did happen in the Glomdoring because I dragged Ashteru back into it twice during the whole event.

I geuss the Serenwilde should have enemied Diamante for not staying in faethorn, but coming into the etherwilde during part of his leaving rp.

It's clear that it wasn't the initial actions then, but the repercussions and how the leaders in both places delt with those repercussions that led to hostilities. pretty much in that order.
