I'm bored, and since people have been taking important IC decisions through OOC consent, I might as well make this poll.

I do not want to disband the LDG, because a couple of people have a lot of money and time invested in it, and I happen to like all those people. But it's been slowly dying off, and it's no longer a source of amusement and RP for me; so I'm going to do something with it, unless enough people join to make it active and interesting again.

Note that right now the LDG is happy to serve as a socialization clan; you can just come to me or one of the people with induction privileges and ask to join, no questions asked. You only get kicked out if you're a complete idiot.

What is the LDG if I may ask? I'm not familiar with it.

Well, Celest has a law and a statue against it, so I really think you're not gonna get anywhere trying to make up for the Walker thing IC...

Sounds like it could use an overhaul. New leadership can help that out, especially if you've made a lot of enemies - a fresh face will have an easier time improving relations.

Long story short, it's a larger, broader organization intended to bring people of different orgs together. It's part of an attempt at popularizing (Maybe watering down) the Walkers, which still exist inside the LDG and were an organization dedicated to bringing about peace to the Basin, first through making people aware and later through conspiracy and manipulation (Even though, despite the fact nobody believes it, the thing that got me kicked out of Celest wasn't at all conspirational in nature - I was doing it to appease some people).

I find it rather cute four people voted for the 'I don't care' option, considering I was this close to explicitly stating my utter contempt for those people.

I also think it's unfair Invid got no votes; he was nearly as important to the whole thing as I was, even if not as vocal.

I thought it was the Legion of Doom for a minute... I guess I have been watching too many episodes of the Super Friends.

Seriously, if you're going to ask about opinions on the Forums don't expect for it to be widely known. That might be the reason why so many voted "I don't care." In all honesty, you should have added the option, "What's a LDG?"

It's not like the organisation matters. So I don't know why you're trying to say that people who don't care aren't RPers. I didn't actually vote (mostly because it's not letting me for some reason) but you're being silly if you think that this is important to the majority of people.

That option was too funny not to choose.

Also, I'm not really sure who else could lead your clan except you. The other choices I either have never heard of or think would do horribly at the job.

If you intend to actually keep going with the clan, though, you need to leave Magnagora. There's no way anyone in Celest or Serenwilde will support the clan while you're tainted.

The thing is, I'm not going to kill my enjoyment of the game for the LDG right now. The LDG isn't big enough, or important enough, or fun enough to pull me from Magnagora and I'm having too much fun in Magnagora not to stay.

As for the 'I don't care' option, I put it there because people coming to post 'i don't care' would just litter the thread and be non-constructive; if you don't care, why are you posting? So I just assume that people who would bother to come say "I don't care" are also the people who actually just want to mock me by saying 'nobody gives a damn'. So I, in my infinite wisdom and benevolence (Alright, just infinite wisdom.) gave them the option.

But yes, it was kind of rude of me to assume everyone knew what an LDG is (Even though it apparently matters enough to deserve a statue tuned against us in New Celest. It's a dubious honour we share only with Divine orders.)

And really, I'm surprised people think I'm qualified to run anything.

Haha, someone voted for me. Why in the world would I need to run another clan? Aside from it just being silly, it'd create more work for me to do.

I dunno about the LDG though, never really liked the idea in Lusternia. Even though it's similar to some of the things I've done... It never struck me as having a core purpose. But, clans are so downplayed in Lusternia sometimes.

So really, I have no idea. Maybe someday, you'll play a game where clans can turn into large, meaningful organizations.
