Personally I know what I would have done.

Yell and faint.

It's very simple:apply health to foot, followed by mending, followed by a shot of Untimely Demise moonshine

So you'd sit there until you bled out? I'd personally hobble/run to get myself some help, exactly as he did.

Hobble, yes, but I'm not running on a foot that's already got holes in it (especially not on the bottom, where I'd be walking). That's just going to make it even WORSE.

LOL, this isn't Lusternia! I am talking about rl, get into the flow Arix... and take 10 minutes to sleep instead of staying in front of your screen selling Moonshine all day.

I have personally ran with a large hook in my foot. Trust me, you tend to run due to the pain, you just run on say the side or heel or toes, on the spot of your foot without the hole(s).

Mmm, once I went swimming in a slummy lake with no shoes on and slit the bottom of my foot open from toe to heel on a beer bottle. I ran quick - entire wound filled up with sand and rocks, but that's another story.

The pain is discouraging but the panic and adrenaline will keep you going.
Daxera2006-06-11 22:10:42
Gah, I least you didn't do the same sort of thing (slit open pop can, we believe, side of foot) in the middle of a camp end-of-year game. Then the doctor, who was my dad, sewed me up...which sounds okay. Except he was -teaching- the nurses there how to do it. So, it took extra long, extra prodding, etc. Bloody untrained people. At least it was only four stitches. Ruined camp.

This is the reason why socks and shoes are my best friends.

Now, I'm not a cruel or vindictive person, but

HA

to everyone who's suffered some kind of debilitating food-related agony. Ever.

I still remember running from something once, across a river, and when I was done, I looked back and thought to myself "How the hell did I do that? I wouldn't be able to cross that normally with assistance"
Unknown2006-06-11 23:32:51
I am thinking about taking pictures of one of the holes, and how it bruised one of my toes (other 4 are also bruised)

Well back in my young days (around 6 yrs old), I was roaming around the yard barefooted while our maids are busy cleaning up the place filled with leaves. After cleaning (and me still roaming or playing with my G. I. Joe toys happy.gif ), they where burning the leaves up.

It was my first time to see fire though, so my curiousity tells me to leave my toys down and get a closer look (our maids that time went in the house to get some refreshment and thought that I'm not going near the fire, they're wrong).

Then I saw the fire, charring the leaves and filling my eyes with smoke that I cough and tears swell up in my eyes, but didn't stop me, I decided to walk into it... That was my big mistake.

I step on the fire with my right foot (remember, I'm barefooted and I didn't know fire yet) and it took me a minute or two when I realize it freakin burning hot, I cried aloud, our maids come to my aide and one of them called for my parents and for an ambulance to pick me up, and then I went straight to the hospital...

If I remember that time, the doctor inject anesthesia on my right leg then peelled of the burned skin (it still hurts when they pull it out and I remember it's burnt as black) then I stayed in a week or two.

I still have those scars, I'll go take a picture of my foot one day and show you the scars I had for stepping onto fire barefooted tongue.gif wink.gif

NOTE: I agree, not only Garden Tools are evil but also Garden Work!

Ha I was fubar'd at a Dead show once... I decided it was time to take a wizz so I walk down to the Anacostia river and stand on some slippery concrete things... I slipped and fell and was all covered in slime... so I decided to swim in the river to clean off... (Not Good Anacostia river is filthy). I get back to shore wander around with my friends oblivious to blood rolling out of my right arm... my buddies take me to get some more nitrous balloons and dropped me off with some girls we came with I noticed them wrapping my arm in something and I was like huh... what is wrong...They said nothing took me home and I passed out. Well I wake up the next day with a sore as hell arm and all this paper towel ductape mess. I took it off.. yikes.. I had to go to the doctor the following day and have it cut back open he put a q-tip all deep in it and green stuff was rolling out... Sorry just my tale... And the moral is if yer friend is bleeding profusely and doesn't seem to care... he is wasted don't take him to get more drugs and alchohol, take him to the doctor before he realizes what pain is. smile.gif

Anyways sorry about your foot. Bet it hurts.

Yes and we call them "Yaya" here in the Philippines, most of them who are close to us (our 2nd cousin's, friend's daughters wanted to help their parents by working as a maid since around those time, jobs here in the Philippines are hard to get).

We're very close to each other, whether you are a maid or not because we treat each other as family, heck I don't call them "Yayas" anymore, I call them "Ate (Ah-Te meaning Sister/Big Sister)" whenever I need their attention. happy.gif

In sandiego you can get a maid for $20 a day once or twice a weak. Really popular in the student appartments.
Unknown2006-06-12 00:09:42
Wow, that's cheap... Well, I'm gong to take pictures of some things when I get some feeling back in my left arm and right foot.
