Oh you know, the war was still going on so the Celestians and Serens were all battle ready and staring at each other. Kahazul and Minerva were the first to begin the battle of the day which resulted in casualties Im afraid, and it happened I think in Deepnight. Richter, the owner of the fair and wonderous city noticed as such and decided to take matters into his own hands by stopping it and locking Minerva up. During this time and after many stupid, useless and boring shouts were made some of which Minerva was told to stop and yet still the shouts rained on.

Then we find Kahazul has been suicided, the sadness of the event causes each and everyone to lament and so on and so forth this began.

Im bored, leave me alone.

*sigh* Minerva, you may deny that you're Phoebe, but you've got an uncanny resemblence.

Maybe I do have a resemblence to her but I am not her.

From our end of things, it doesn't really matter if you are or aren't, if you act like her, we'll treat you like her.

You can't see what is quoted above that statement and tell what the sentence meant? Just for you... It means that what he said was not heard by my character. I asked him if he said it before my character was around.

Except that this is the rants thread.. where people rant. What you quoted was Rauros the player ranting. His character never said that. So why would your character have heard it no matter when he was logged in?

Are you talking about something he said in relation to that, and not actually what you quoted?

He had it like he was quoting what he said in game, which is why I assumed he said it in game. Coming to the boards to rant like that seems a bit off to me, since there are neither real Supernals nor city of Celest. So again, his rant style seemed more like something a pissed off person would say in game over shouts or some aether to the city he is pissed with.

Also, instead of using your one liner to try to zing someone, you could have just pointed out that he did not say it in game.

Well, by that measure, there's no real Geb, so why bother playing a fake him?

I hate it when little novice guys start sending me what I can only guess they think are flirty tells. I could snub them or something, but then what if they had something actually important to say? I don't mind getting random tells that mean something or are even amusing but receiving clumsy attempts at flirting via tells isn't fun after the first ten.

I hate it when there's like ten people in Celest and there's a raid in the crazy lateness of the night IRL and I'm making my way back to the city from where I was in the middle of doing something to help (even though I'm just honestly not much help, but there's only like six people around in the whole city) and I'm not able to move quickly enough to please someone and get chewed out for it. Makes me want to hide in an Aether Manse till it all blows over, but then the guilt would kill me so I figure I might as well die fighting - and rant about it here in the random rant thread!

I hate it when people tell me to do something that I already know to do, and that I've never not done, like I go around and not do it every day. You don't see my name on the list of people who don't do it, cause I know better and barring my computer crashing and I'm not able to log back in to do it, you never will.

I hate it that moving costs so much money. I hate it that my roommates complain that my tv is too loud when it's on level 9. LEVEL 9! My TV has 35 levels of volume and 9 is too loud??? I hate it that I'm out of cokes and feeling too lazy (and poor) to get some more. (I'll just drink my roommates' tea! That'll show them! Muahahaha!)

I hate it that Kahazul suicided cause though Noola didn't like him at all - I've nothing against him and that's just a drastic thing to do. I couldn't imagine doing it myself with a character I'd put that much into. Plus some of his posts here are really funny and make me laugh so I feel bad.

I hate it that I'm going to have to replace the tires on my car soon, the back ones, but I can't afford it cause I'm moving to a new apartment so I just have to hope and pray they don't blow out on me before I can.

People come to the boards to rant to left off steam, to let go of the stuff that's on their chest without any real consquences. Rauros, the player, probably felt/feels that way whereas the character doesn't or might but doesn't have any way of expressing it.

Playing a game means playing a Fake Geb. Who is by the way a character in the game. Now if I came here to rant about how much Geb pisses me off, then that would be about the same thing as complaining how much Celest and its Supernals piss me off, since neither of them are real. So I would never rant in such a way that it seemed like I was gaining real world hatred for something that does not exist in the real world. That is why I assumed he said it in game, because it makes a lot of sense for his character to say something like he did.

A certain member of my guild took a novice to train him, and the novice accidentally D/Ced. When the novice got back on a bit later, he was still there, as was - apparently - Ebonguard Joe. Novice asks for help. I find them. Then, my GA tells me to hit EJ when he doesn't respond. I do so, and then when I do it again, his autoparry catches me and a riposte splits open a vein just as I fall asleep from exhaustion. Long story short, trying to put insomnia back up combined with clotting drained my mana, I fell asleep, bled to death.

For all your IF problems, you could always go live with Tervic, he'll growl at said irritatting people for you. And you won't have to worry about flirty tells because he's married.
