Im suddenly killing em one hit with Talisman..

It was in an announce posting by Roark, it seems magic damage wasn't factoring in correctly from some sources, Nature Curse was included.

Nice, now cosmicfire will be more useful. Actually, might mean symbols are boosted as well.

This was actually a very large problem impacting numerous skills and damage in general (not just when artifacts were involved). When you see that then you should know it's fixed."

That was what Roark told me regarding the magic damage enhancing artifacts when I noticed it did not add to the damage of nature curse, and that was his response a few days ago, prior to the recent announcement. So from what I understand, several abilities weren't classified as a magical source, and thusly were not modified by intelligence (nature curse being one of them, and from my experience, I have a feeling Moonburst wasn't either) or the artifact. I sort of wish there was a list though.

I'm guessing whatever bug caused that was somewhat recent.. cause I know for a fact that Int used to effect Nature Curse.

As an Elfen, I could JUST learn Talisman and be able to kill things in Newton in 1 hit. As a tae'dae or Igasho I would have to learn up to like Adept to get the same effect.

That, or Intelligence just didn't effect those skills like it was supposed to.

Cant remember if I actually read that or not, but regardless good to know.

Talisman, blast and cosmicfire used to be the same for bashing. You just needed enough Int to kill those newbie mobs with one shot (I think 15). Don't know what's with the change now.

Ever since I started playing it was that Talisman and Blast were the same strength about and Cosmicfire was weaker than the two with any race Ive tried. While this means I havent tried Merian, I have tried others and have found them at a disadvantage with Cosmicfire. Now they seem equal and Im happy

You could try not going through the blasted lands and using the Angkrag painting and going from there.

And I hate junky wireless. Aka anything not 802.11/g

I GODDAMN HATE WHAT GLOMDORING IS TRYING TO BECOME, AND ALL THE GODDAMN FAVOURITISM IT GETS IN THE GODDAMN ATTEMPT.

Yes, I'm sure it seems fun to be the vampire that is actually a firm believer in lawfulness and virtue and compassion and really wants to be a good person who actually loves sunlight and spring blossoms and fairy dust... but DON'T CHOOSE THE GODDAMN CHARACTER IF YOU WANT TO PLAY A DIFFERENT ROLE.

What the ing-hell is up with Faethorn turning into some goddamn hippy theme park that is so goddamn removed from any of its original, serious purpose that it might as well be burned to the ground for all the respect we're supposed to give its people?? Not only do all the fae suddenly turn around and say, hey, you know, getting RAPED AND OBLITERATED FROM EXISTANCE was fun! Let's play nice with those guys who have treated us like bugs to be swatted through history and give the ones who ACTUALLY FREAKING HEALED US WHEN WE WERE DYING and SWORE OUR LIVES TO SERVE THEM all the scorn and derision we can muster! We wouldn't want to be anything but neutral now, would we? Not like we're supposed to FREAKING CARE ABOUT NATURE or anything.

Oh, and then if that was not enough we have the lovely willingly taken oath, that we were given such opportunity to reflect on and discuss at length. Sure, it means we basically GAVE AWAY any sense of equality in the Faethorn conflict, and it means that EVERY SINGLE FREAKING Glom player gets to have a chance to rub our noses in an acknowledgement that goes against EVERY FREAKING THING OUR GREAT SPIRIT JUST SAID, but that's because Glomdoring has had such a hard time getting started. I mean, sure, they're actually EVEN MORE POWERFUL THAN SERENWILDE these days, but we wouldn't want to let them feel alone or without any chance, would we? Let's throw in a few bugs that make sure Serenwilde doesn't get the chance to regain Faethorn either while we're at it, its not like we've made enough concessions to the other side. And don't get me STARTED on shadowfaelings
