Stupid Gorgulu

Lost several big knights between relieving Serenwilde of their Avatars and trying for Gorgulu, and we were getting a little sloppy. Ah well, maybe tomorrow

I'm starting to think that Narsrim ganks at people who have tried to say something against him in the forums... uhmm..

Now I wish I -had- been logging instead of just watching all the magenta text of Celestians dying to Gorgulu fly by. More colorful than the few spurts earlier from the Avatars.

Biggest problem is the raid took my attention away from my laundry earlier today, and I still haven't caught up since of course things keep piling up to do. And certain people persist in trying to talk to me.

Yeah, I've got a page listing stuff I have to do for school, and I'll most likely have to work and be at school all day monday and tuesday, and possibly at work on sunday as well. I procrastinate so bad

I think more of them ran away from Albion than ran from Gorgulu, since Albion doesn't chase and Gorgulu does (as far as I know). Note that the first wave in each, they were pretty much repulsed and ran away. They got Albion the second time because she hadn't healed much yet. I think Gorgulu, having killed more of them, had more time to heal while they regathered their forces (Gorgulu's first kills were in waves, and then the last 8 or so killed were singular, picking them off one-by-one I guess).

Also note that Selene was already dead when they attacked Albion, and I don't have the death count for Selene (wasn't on yet), but I hear it was a bit more impressive.

Because Luna was helping Selene. I imagine some of those deathsights are from Luna and Albion working together too.

I hate that some people make characters to just be stupid asses. Young Palidan with no skills telling a Hartstone novice that they get ass- by gnomes.

I thought Luna helped Selene, Selene helped Albion, and Albion helped Luna? So Albion would be alone with Selene dead.

Ah, I'd never looked at it that way before. When you put it like that, treating people badly is clearly doing them a big favour.

Oh, here's a new rant! Gravestones should either all stack (not one or two stack with each other and the rest all stay single) or be able to be destroyed. They're spammy as is.

No, they don't all defend each other, as neither the supernals or DLs do, either.

And yea, we've been saying for years to get gravestones to stack.

Looks like they stack for the same person.

Well, yes. No matter who you attack first, you have to deal with two avatars at once. That means, even with numen I was getting slapped for about 5000 damage every now and then.

There were a lot more deaths for the Selene kill, I'd say. We had to come back for her several times in a row. I know that I died about 3 times on Gorgulu, whereas I died 6+ on the Avatars.

At one point, everyone else around me had died while fighting Gorgulu, I was the last one going toe to toe with him for a couple rounds. He was just starting to shield, and I oh so badly wanted to take him down. But alas. While numened in one attacked he dropped me like 4k. Owie.

And the following two, the only way we got to the right order was by dying horribly when we attacked the other way around and got eaten alive by two avatars again.

Trial and error yields the correct pattern.

Yeah, we took on Selene, Luna showed up to help, we all died lots, finally got Selene, attacked Luna, Albion shows up, we all die lots again, then the avatars went back to their home, and we decided that Selene probably would defend Albion, but being dead Albion would be alone... but we still died lots again. Worth it though, I'd say. Just wish we could do more then the initial 1k power though, we don't even get that 1k like we do with demonlord killings. Serenwilde (and Glomdoring) has no where near the urgency to bring back their Avatars as the cities have to bring back their cosmic beings.
