IC point of View
Celest will be screwed one way or another, they started this mess and they think they can cleanse it, assuming they can cleanse what a Soulless spurted out and warped a lot of Estarra's creations.
Celest will fall, the rocks hurled by our geos will crumble their walls, their souls cursed and tormented by our Nihilists and their Warriors will fall to ours and with Serenwilde, they will get their revenge to Celest for what they've done long ago and never be forgotten.
OOC point of View
We need to tweak Lusty a bit if we're going to have a 'real' war, you know: Making catapults, walking trees, dozens or hundreds of NPC troops and if any of them lose the war, they'll not be able to be log in for a month
Im really curious to know who you play now.

I hate people who launch into personal attacks when you tell them they are wrong, even in a very gentle and nice way. I also hate people who don't know the difference between OOC laws and IC laws. They should be stabbed. In the face. With a hammer. By an angry baby.

Here is how i define Griefers
Griefers - People who bought a lot of credits, make a good system, and kills 'weak' people who on the other hand, is about to 1) destroy his comp 2) suicide his char and never play again 3) suicide in real life 4) anything that'll degrade their life more than they are in Lusty.

here's what I see... people who kill people because they can and because they like to cause grief to other players. Also known as lamers

I hate being in the middle of the Hallifax quest, only to have Charune catch Shaddai doing it and ask why he's trying to bring back such an abomination (city) so I have to abandon 4.5 hours of work that really killed my back.
Diamondais2006-09-11 01:11:49
Thats would be the life of someone pro-lost city in Serenwilde.
Everiine2006-09-11 01:12:10
Wouldnt' have bothered me. I would have kept doing it.

I think Serenwilde needs a reprieve from all of the raiding. We have to understand that the mechanics that allows them to acquire power does work against them when their Avatars are killed. We also have to understand that people do not want the entirety of their play time consumed by constant raiding by a force that is obviously superior to theirs.
People in Celest need to remember what it felt like to have such actions done against them, and have a bit of OOC compassion for the players. I know it feels fun to some especially when they are use to being on the receiving end of raids, but that is also more the reason to back off for a bit and give people time to breath and build up their desire to fight again. Remember, though we are role-playing Lusternia like it is a real world, we have to remember that when it is all said and done Lusternia is just a game. And like I have tried to point out before, games are supposed to be fun to participate in.

Sorry.
There's technically no law against it (yet!) though, so if you want to defy it... go ahead.
Diamondais2006-09-11 01:17:59
Well probably hear how we should just take it (we are ) and Celest should reap all the benifits it can.
Unknown2006-09-11 01:20:00
Actually, Geb's right, we play Lusternia to get away from all the troubles in the world and be someone else who's either respected or hated.
Either way, I agree with Geb, I know that Celest is trying to PUSH Serenwilde to bow down and give in to their demands but C'mon, nearly everyday whenever Malicia, Amaru, Vesar and Co. are around, they go and do Avatar slaying and countless PKs. I also noticed that they keep killing people who aren't fighters like Nizes and Nezza.
Come to think of it, Celest has been pushing it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead and will do nothing but make other players grief. From what I remember, Mag give us a rest in trying to recover our Avatars and raising the star which I got to thank them for that, they just don't go 24/7 raid us and be sure we all lost.
C'mon, who wants to play in an Org who keeps losing? Let's balance the gameplay a bit ok?

Celest too - don't get me wrong, they're all idiots as well, but let's get the facts straight, eh?

From a Serenwilder POV:
The war isn't too bad. I mean, nobody is screaming their head off in hatred. The occasional 'sigh, this sucks' does pop up. As someone who often has to meld Ethereal, and is often targetted by Celestians, even then I'm quite okay. A little combat experience doesn't do you wrong- a bit of experience loss can be made up.

Guido, there's no need to constantly troll/flame these forums.
I liked Turgeis - yeah, there was drama, but still - was sad to see him go. Glad to know you're still around the game though.
Would be nice if there was a way to hurt the Flame of Serenwilde like Magnagora can hurt the Star.

Maybe at the end of the War well get a nice event where they put CrowvsHart back in or they give a way for the Avatars to fight kinda like the Supernal/Demonlord stuff!
If not..Ill just go back to hoping..

Okay, turns out that by changing the forum skin I was able to correct all the infuriating bugs.
Tuning down the ass level for now. I didn't know Celestial Gold had all these pretty options!

Or over here!
WOO!
Wish it didn't automatically make all linebreaks into three linebreaks, though.
