Here's a random and completely OOC rant...

I hate when my supervisor at work quits with no notice, so I suddenly have all her responsibilities, but no training and no knowledge even of where everything is so I have to spend hours hunting through her computer and desk (and she's kept every piece of paper ever written on ever - but in no particular discernable order) to try to find one document and I still haven't found it.

I'm in charge of an entire department and I only know how to work 1/3 of it.

Plus... somehow... I still have to get my OWN work done...

I hate how I can't get Counterstrike: Source working on my computer. I'm tempting to repartition and install a copy of Windows for my games, this is starting to piss me off. Though I did manage to get Half-Life 2 working (though it takes forever to load) and Guild Wars finally started cooperating. WoW still freezes whenever I try to play a Hunter.

CS is annoying though. I figure I may as well be patriotic one day a year, and nothing is as patriotic as getting online and shooting terrorists in the face, right?

I hating Google spidering our forums. It used to be I could just type "lusternia.ire-community.com" into Google at work and click the link. Now I have to slog through the Ban Annabelle petition and about 8 random posts before I get to it, and it's always stuck in the "Show items similar to these" category that isn't shown by default.

I also hate "whinge," even if it is technically correct. My internal reading functions refuse to pronounce it properly and it sounds retarded.

I'm usually extremely tolerant of newbies, because we all were newbies once, and I remember being clueless, but some things I just can't take.

I cannot STAND it when a newbie comes through, uses "u" for "you", "lol", doesn't capitalize their "I"s (PET PEEVE), talks about Telnet and MSN repeatedly, and starts recommending other games to play. Now, I know what you're thinking, He just didnt' know. Well, after each of these things, each time they happened, I sent him a tell explaining calmly that this is an RPG, stress on the RP, and that OOC stuff (I even said Out of Character) should be left off the newbie aether. HE KEEPS DOING IT! Then, when I publicly ask that he read HELP ROLEPLAY and HELP OOC, he gets all pissy at me and says he knows what he's doing and doesn't need any help, then leaves.

Newbies like that make me want to stop training novices. Fortunately, there are FAR more of the good kind . But these kind make me want to kill them.

The reason he said Telnet was because I was asking him through tells which he was using. He didn't understand how to use tells. But yeah, it was really annoying.

I told him how to use tells. I swear he was ignoring everything I said.

I hate how my computer cant handle Photoshop 7 so I have to put it on my moms computer and cant play Lusternia unless I use Nexus and I now have trouble reading it. Bad bad eyes needing glasses and semi-brightness.
