To Diamondais:
Yes I did but as Turgeis, now not anymore and I'm not killing any Denizen who trades corpses for gold unless forced to do so (like you killed the cook, I kill Surtami).
To Shiri:
I always find Gognigin dead so in return I kill Marinus

I dunno about Hraddon. By all accounts he's a total idiot, but he's also a Kalas, and Kalas have a natural level fifteen experience bonus... so, yeah, watch out?

What is this I'm hearing that Celest teaches Novices to hate Seren and Mag?

Actually, I have an alt in the Paladins. This was how he ended my novice training.
Me: "What are the ways of the Paladin, sir?
High-ranking Paladin: "Respect others, Uphold your honor, and be humble."
High-ranking Paladin: "And kill Serens."
I couldnt resist laughing so hard.

It actually turns into an inverse of level fifteen experience penalty if your name starts with an O and ends with rti

You could ask your new fiance who is a higher level to take you hunting.

Someone actually agreed to be engaged to Orti? Of their own free will!
Please, don't forget the Ortia, Orti

I'm guessing he's that Geomancer who asked me for an advancement and knew everything he was doing, even though I didn't
But, seriously - who are you, Guido?

I'd think the school would at least a Linux server sitting around somewhere you could log onto, probably remotely from home. Mine did, and it wasn't a big school or especially tech savvy or anything.
Anyways, how'd you manage to screw up Knoppix? All you have to do is stick it in the drive and reboot. I've never had any troubles with it on any computer I've tried it with.
Its got a server that I have no trouble accessing when I already have access to a computer with Unix on it.
And I'm not sure whats wrong with Knoppix, I put the cd it, it looked like it was loading normally, then it just stopped doing stuff.

Really? We could just ssh into ours. It's actually how I got around the firewall to play Achaea a few times.

I used PuTTY. It's a free telnet/ssh client. All ssh is is a secure version of telnet, more or less.

That's nothing, I teach novices that pennyroyal cures stupidity, but it doesn't seem to work for Celestians.

Should've seen my initial question for the quiz I held for young'uns over Serenwilde CT: the test question to check they understood the rules: "Who don't we like?"
Everyone got full marks on that question
