Fasting for an entire month? Or just during the day? Longest I've gone without any food at all for religous reasons was seven days, and it was getting to the point of being dangerous when the fast ended

In 10 days time, me, Dag, and all the other Jews out there will have to go without food or water for 25 hours, and spend much of thos 25 hours praying. On my way to synagogue on that day, I will have to walk past 4 bakers. The kind that wafts smells of delicious warm pastry out the open door. Feel our pain.

Just during the day, It's the equivalent of getting up at 5, eating a big breakfast between 5-6, skipping lunch and eating a late supper around 7-8. I had a practicing roomie in college... darn early risers.

Lunch is my favorite meal of the day, in that situation I think Iâ€™d have lunch for breakfast. Typical lunch foods for me include: salads, sandwiches, or soups.
