If you're referring to merians, remember that Celest has as much of a reason to protect those as Magnagora does Shallach or Serenwilde does Faethorn.

Actually I'm referring to merians, the Presidio, Faethorn, the Inner Sea and all of the other ones.

Actually, the Faethorn analog for the cities are the Sea of Despair/Spectre Isle for Mag and the Inner Sea for Celest. Seren and Glom currently do not claim territory apart from that, as the cities do, which is perfectly in line with the Histories. Not saying the cities are doing anything wrong, just clarifying.

I HATE that my stupid internet connection is usurped by the tiniest of electrical disturbances in the sky.
I.e. the slightest bit of lightning TWENTY MILES AWAY.
It doesn't help that I live in southern Louisiana, either, because we seem to get a LOT of rain.

Same here, except replace "electricity" with "clouds".

What.

That is all.

Papercuts BAD.
This one was technically a knife cut but it was a totally wussy knife cut and it feels like a papercut (i.e stinging all day) so I think of it as that anyway.

We haven't had a good sig war in a while. Good idea!
Shiri2006-09-25 15:34:14
Have we ever had a sig war? The last time I remember something close to one was that "down with Karma" (or whatever it was) and all those silly buggers with mob killings in their sigs.

Karma was the last one I can remember. It was amusing.

Hrm. What are these signature wars you speak of?

That's when several people (who consider themselves a God-know-how-big crowd) put in some sort of a protest a non-coherent sentence (example: "die karma, die") in huge, oversized capitals, and in some retardedly annoying colour, like red or bright yellow.
It's retarded, and people who do that deserve to have their accounts deleted. Fortunately, most of those who did it the last time (aforementioned karma system) are playing this game no longer. Good grief, I don't miss them a bit.

My english teacher has our essays graded. He has them on the desk in front of class right now. But will he give them to us? No! Because he's waiting until the end of class to.
This is cruel and unusual punishment! Waving my grade infront of my face, and then pulling it away before I can read it.
Hurrah for being a drama queen!

I hate that my boss is driving me insane and it's barely halfway through the day. He keeps changing his mind how he wants things done, adding new things to be done and I'M STILL THE ONLY PERSON REALLY IN MY DEPARTMENT! I'm doing 3 people's jobs, and one of those people was doing at least 2 people's jobs, so I'm doing 5 people's jobs in addition to my own and sooner or later someone's going to yell at me cause nothing's finished, but I DON'T HAVE TIME TO FINISH ANYTHING! And he keeps saying "We're going to get you some help", but WHERE IS IT? They're not even interviewing anyone! As far as I know, they're not even taking applications/resumes!
I love that a coworker opened my jar of pickle relish for me. (yes. It was THAT hard to find a good thing to say.)

I totally feel your pain Working overtime myself, but they refuse to give me a full time position. Even though we're short 2-3 people. And even though I'm always correcting my manager's mistakes, or apologizing to customers about her rude behaviour.

no car
no money
Mexican public transportation
laryngitis
being 19 years old, studying in the US and not having free health care like my mom does due to some technicalities and thus, not being able to get treated properly
spending 1 hour with fever in a stupid public bus traveling along bumpy roads and feeling like a pile of burning shit
campus policies
buerocracy
illness
computerless life
stupid family members
current life that although it's not like I have AIDS and live in Africa and dying of hunger is really pissy
yay for all of this!
