True enough, except my character is very attached to the Earth Lords, and she would want to come to their defense regardless of the issue of essence. And it seems Estarra ordered them to stop, so it's all good.

You shouldn't be so upset. Earth/Tide Lords come back naturally by themselves, and you'll probably be too busy participating in the anniversary festivities to be bothered too much with essence-hunting, so you've really lost nothing.
Yes, from a mechanics point of view, you're right. From an RP point of view, it's something we're forced to deal with anyways. From a rational human being point of view, the admin had already taken steps for people to enjoy the weekend's celebrations without problems like this. It shouldn't need to be spelled out and coded what is and isn't acceptable, especially after a related announce post had been made. I'm glad Estarra did something about it, but such behaviour still irks me.

Pfft. I'm annoyed at how Raflein won the chance to found the Bard's guild in New Celest and now everyone's arguing over what to call it and no one seems concerned about what HE thinks it should be called.
I think he should name it whatever he likes and just ignore everyone else.
Edit: Of course, I've realized since posting this that I'm probably just cranky cause I'm tired (been playing for nearly 12 hours... ) and so it's all in my head that they're being unfair.

ScrewYouGuys is probably a bad guild name.

Celest should be "the Choir" and the GA can be the Catho..er.. Celestian Priest.

Just the GA will be the Priest. He'll be the Celestine who had to be shuffled after the parents of the supplicant children filed a few too many complaints because he taught the children how to do the wrong sort of prostrating

I can't believe I gave into peer pressure and put a pic of me on myspace.

Yeah, a bunch of Seren were discussing what to call it, and then one of us just said, "Umm, that's Ialie's choice, and she seems to have a name she rather likes - why discuss it any further?"

I seem to remember quite a few people pointing that out. Even saying we should have a poll. They finally got the picture when lord Charune said it!

Also, technically, the US is on Daylight Savings Time, so it's EDT/PDT, not EST/PST. That makes the difference when calculating GMT.

Times aren't accurate because you have to add/substract one hour. Fault? Summer time.
For example, it's 00:52 AM here. Lusternia shows...
22:52 GMT. Which would translate to 23:52 Central European, but I have to add +1 hour because of that confusing summer time.
