It's really not hard to hit the top of the daily posters. I'm there most days just because I get bored and set the forums on 30 second auto-refresh. It either means you're bored or ranting. Poor Joli is ranting.

Anyways, that car comment reminds me; I really need to start riding my friends about getting their licenses. Ross wants me to get an apartment with him, but I'll be damned if I get stuck with something that has to be in walking distance of his current crap job, and then being the only one with a car. Hell no. Same with Will. If you're got a reasonable excuse for not having a car, or it just works (public transportation, etc), cool. If you just haven't bothered, it gets to be a problem.

Driving scares me.

I hate that a freak storm took out my Internet starting yesterday afternoon, and my power starting 3:30am, and I have to go into the office on a Saturday just to have warmth, electricity, toilets that flush, and Internet (not necessarily in that order!). Hope they get power back to my house before tonight so I don't have to stay in a motel.

Plus, I hate that a tree fell in my front yard and now I have to spend hours with the chainsaw... once I have power again, that is, since I have an electric chainsaw.

If you're using Word, highlight the word and hit shift+F7 for synonyms.

I have the same problem with English papers though. I just don't see how writing all of this crap will help me when I start looking for careers unless I want to be a literary analyst (which I don't).

Try freewriting, its awesome for writers block. 15 minutes continous writing, doesnt have to be on one topic. Write about your/your friends/enemies pet, write about your wall, write about how you get to school/work, write about Lusternia. Itll honestly help.

It's really not that bad. People who are scared of driving confuse me. Granted, I do rather prefer being a passenger, because it's easier.

Still though, if you choose not to drive, you really can't then bitch about the consequences of it. (Not saying you do, really, I'm still annoyed at my friends.)

I hate this one particular person in my guild that every single time someone gets favoured, promoted, ectera.. I get tells.. saying "Why'd this happen? Why can't I do that?" And I'm really tempted to say.. "Because no one likes you." and go on with my business.

I remember being apprehensive before I started driving because my only previous experience with anything that had a pedal was with a semi-broken old sewing machine. Press it a little, a little more, a little more, and all it would do was make grinding/whining noises, until you finally eased past a certain little bit and then BAM it tore off at high speed. I was worried a car would be similar and definitely didn't want to risk losing control of said vehicle.

Of course, cars aren't like semi-broken sewing machines, which I quickly found out. Still, I can understand some reasons people might worry about driving ... but I don't think most should let those reasons stop them from learning and trying. Just because you'll know how doesn't mean you have to do so, it just means you could do so if you needed to.

I think I know who she is talking about... and if I am correct, it's the alt of an infamous player here. Have pity.

I hate driving because it freaks me out. It just does, and when I hear those Asian stereotypes about us being bad drivers, I don't want to prove 'em right. My sister says I should pretend I'm playing a video game and riding a Gundam or something... but then I might feel like hitting pedestrians.

Poor Veri.. He went to give him a test on spars and the guy tried to make him spar him 3 times, just so he could pass the test. So he pretty much.. A) Didn't read the scroll. If he did read the scroll he thought he could get away with sparring 1 person 3 times, which is retarded. C) Is actually mentally ill and thought that's what the scroll meant. or D) Was just trying to piss someone off. But either way.. He attacked Verithrax for refusing to spar him and Veri pwned him with Queen's Lament and the guy's like "STOP HITTING ME".. when he was hitting him to begin with.

Oh and earlier he was mad because I wouldn't make him an undersec, claiming that the girl I just made an undersec was an alt the person I outguilded a few days ago. Which she's not. She's a very nice intelligent girl who enjoys writing poetry and plays. But anyway.. yes, he went perfectly OOC and said "But she's a reincarnation of so and so. Why haven't you noticed this yet?" and I wanted to just go off on him, but instead I politely told him that she is not that person. It's physically impossible since they've both been speaking to me at the same time. I could of handled this better, I admit, but I was talking to 4 people at once and I just woke up.. maybe.. 20 minutes ago.

And for the record, I hit him with the Nifilhema stick first for being a little bitch (I try to pull a Murphy every once in a while.)
