Yeah, they sent me a tell saying they'd protect me. I was like "Yay!".. but still worried that I'd be hunted down later.

I remember a discussion about why the GC did not have an office. Verithrax jumps up and states that he should get one before the GC (Who happened to be me). His reasoning was because he wrote so much, and needed a desk. I proceeded to show him multiple projects detailing information from Aquamancer abilities, tactics using them, and defenses against abilities that could be used against an Aqua in fights. The amount of information I had written up to that point dwarfed his by a magnitude of 4 to 1. Yet, his response was essentially anyone can type up a whole lot of gibberish. He had the nerve to say it to my character’s face, and then try to take it back once I reminded him that I was more powerful than him Politically. From that point on, my character has always had a strong distaste for him.

No, Geb. I pointed out that the system you were touting as the salvation of the guild, combat-wise, was undocumented and you went pissy at me like I had just kicked your puppy, at which point I lost any respect for you.

Heh, how can you say combat information is undocumented when you have no clue about combat, Verithrax? Not like you have taught a soul how to fight, nor have you ever helped a soul defend itself in game. So I pointed out how could you state what is what to you, when you were incapable of defending yourself. Which just made your arrogance even worse.

Oh, and just so you know. Hate is considered a very strong word for me. I do not use it unless I feel a real life urge to destroy something. You do not generate such in me. You generate distaste for your attitude and actions. Which is not on the same order of magnitude. So please do not throw around a word like Hate and attribute it to my feelings.

Me: That system you've been offering to the guild seems alright, but there's no documentation at all, so it's rather daunting.
Geb: Do you have any idea of how much work I put into it, you ingrateful bastard? Don't ever talk to me again.

I distinctly remember him telling me never to contact him again. So yeah, I wasn't saying his system was crap, I was saying it's undocumented, and he basically snapped at me and said I had to figure it out myself, and not to speak to him again, which just struck me as childish, specially of someone who went to such lengths to make it seem like he was helping the guild learn how to fight.

But then again, from his post it seems Geb doesn't even know what 'undocumented' means or what I was talking about, so I guess I overestimated him from the start.

No, I never said Bastard to him. That was the other problem I had with him. He lies. He lied about what I said when he was in Serenewilde.

That is a very big lie right there Verithrax. You said nothing of the sort. You said anyone can write a whole bunch of mess essentially. I do not remember the exact words, but I know darn well it is not what you are saying above.



I never said ungrateful bastard to you. There was nothing in what I wrote that was made for you, since it was well established that you would not be looking to learn to fight anyhow. I pointed out to you that the manner in which you responded to my reasoning on why I should receive an office first was very disrespectful. Also, my system was not even in the information I posted. The only mention made of my system was in a project placed there to send me an email if anyone wanted to receive it. That being the case, why would anyone need documentation on how to use it? Besides the point that you never mentioned documentation in the first place.

Like I said before, information on skills, how they can be used, and defensive tactics were placed there for anyone to read. Information that you did not read at all but skimmed and made your statement a few seconds later.

I'm talking about a whole different incident, and you're mixing things up for some reason - Hopefully just because you misunderstood.

You were offering your system to the guild (WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COMBAT PROJECT TEXT OR ME ASKING FOR AN OFFICE, YOU SEE), and I asked for you to mail it to me. I got it, I fiddled with it for a while, and I realised it had no documentation whatsoever built-in, which was fine for someone who had built the system but was daunting for anyone else. So I told you the system looked fine (Hadn't actually seen it in action, though) and told you it was undocumented... and you basically had such an unwarranted, absurd reaction to it (Basically telling me not to talk to you again and that I should 'figure it out myself'), that it just struck me as childish, and unbecoming of someone who was supposedly making such an effort to help put active, skilled fighters in the guild.

As for the office thing, which I wasn't talking about at all until now, I didn't even remember it until you mentioned it, but I seem to remember having said those things at least partially with tongue in cheek, not sure though.

How in the world am I mixing something up, when it is you who responded to me. I started the subject, and remained on it. Now if you start taking about something else, yet supposedly responding to what I was talking about, then how am I the one mixing something up.

Also, I remember the Emails from someone. I had no clue it was from you, since the email did not have your character’s name, nor did you take the time to mention it. So you saying a discussion about the system in messages was wrong too, since I had one with a person in emails.

In those emails I pointed out to you that I was not giving out documentation, since it was free. When you said to me that all programmers do it. I pointed out to you that I am not a programmer, and that I was only giving the system out so people will have something to quickly start off with.

No where in that conversation was their anything about ungrateful bastard either. I just pointed out that if you did not like it, then make your own. Don't bother me about being professional, when I was giving out something for free.

So if you are mentioning that incident as why my Character has a strong distaste for you, then you seem to be having a problem with separating IC from OOC. This especially being the case since I had no clue that the email was from you. All I knew was that the person was in the Aquamancer guild, because that is all the email said.

So yeah, you're probably thinking of someone else - Apparently I'm not the only one making the argument, or you just mistook messages for email. At any rate, this has become highly pointless, so I'm withdrawing from the conversation. Feel free to think I'm mean and disrespectful towards people, only interested in getting guild positions so I can abuse them, and that I'm using Joli for guildfavours, because that seems to be the popular opinion nowadays.

SOMEONE IS CALLING ME AT 6:30. I never wake up that early. I think it's Val's soul and if it is I'M SO CALLING AND HURTING YOU LATER. You I only got to sleep maybe 2 hours. Freaking pisses me off. I sleep with my cell phone and someone decided to wake me up freaking early. >_<
