Good grief, has it occurred to you that internal guild business should probably stay in game? Friendly advice: insert filter between stream-of-consciousness and keyboard. Airing out dirty laundry on forums, as entertaining as it is for outsiders, reflects poorly on all parties involved.

There were IC reasons people had a problem with Aia getting GM and a guild, though I am not saying she did not deserve it or anything. She's done well thus far it seems, but unless you were there for those specific events or dealings, you really don't know what's going on and why some people feel this way.

And despite my post, I wish her the best on luck, hope she and the baby are okay. Would definitly love to see some pics posted soon of mother and her baby

I hope not. Drama isn't fun. I've been wondering why I even came back to the damn game now, but I can't step down because Verithrax would step up and then all hell would break loose and it'd be bad.. Yeah, GR3 for reading news posts and contesting. Forgot the GR5 thing is a Geo guild rule. Might've run for GM myself had it not been for that and the fact that I don't have enough time as it is, and don't really want the crap that comes from being GM. So instead I tried to get Revan to run, but he was too slow.

No baby yet peoples, although I'm not sure if that needed to be mentioned here either. Ah well.



I'm not saying that Verithrax and Joli and Nymerya haven't done anything for the guild. I'm sure you've all done a good deal especially with regards to getting things set up and running. And she's been busy doing what GMs do, overseeing it all to make sure everything gets done, making sure it all works together, dealing with the people who are out to cause problems, etc... Heck, she could probably unload all of that off on Joli if she had to, not that she should since it's not fair, but from my point of view, at least I'd get some more time with her then, since she's always running around on guild business when I'm aronud.

No one is saying that Aia should get special treatment as far as being a leader, but it goes the other way as well. If Verithrax is going to be blunt and honest to the point of being rude and making people complain about it, he's going to suffer the consequences of it too.

Yes, but it pisses me off that, in Magnagora, the supposedly bad-arse org, people can't take scathing criticism, let alone corporal punishment. It's like the city suddenly turned into a bunch of pussies, and Murphy never got this kind of crap when he was active, and he was decidedly worse than me.

Murphy was never that active on the political/administrative side of things from what I remember. He's a great combatant, and did a lot of wonderful training for his Dreadlords. And yeah, he was hard on his pupils, but outside of that, he didn't often do much to others, except when they did something like snuggle him, or they were being exceptionally stupid. I guess it's one thing to get that kind of criticism and punishment when you've signed up for it by trying to be a combatant, but it doesn't work as well in the political/administrative areas.

People I attacked (This includes doing something non-letal but ICly painful for demonstration purposes): Less than ten, probably.
Novices I mistreated in any way shape or form: None. I wait until they can have a decent working knowledge of how the game works. It's not fair to punish someone who has no chance of knowing what he's doing.

So yeah, the rumours of me being a novice-killing machine have been hugely exaggerated.

Oh wait. I have a real rant. Surgery is tomorrow morning, and I am scared and sad.
