Speaking as a semi-professional (as in, I still earn a bit of money on the circuit) choral singer, I think the name Cantors is extremely appropriate.

You know, Celest doesn't really strike me as Red/Green. They're very much more White/Blue.

Speaking of that, my blue deck sucked against most people as it was full of instant counter spells and non-standard islands, because I usually played against this guy who -always- played red, and his whole deck was full of lands which blocked me from attacking him, in anyway (but put him on a 10 round countdown to death, or something stupid like that), and lightning/fireballs. I had a few nifty blue wizards, but they didn't fit into the deck well so I usually left them out.

My white deck was much nicer, full of healers, healing spells, and walls. go-go turtleing FTW!

...and then someone in my High School took my deck while I was eating lunch, took out the best cards and returned it to where it used to be, which is around when I stopped playing, I hate adolescent ego-battles. Guess I haven't played it in 5 years or so, can't say I miss it much.

Refuting the claim that the name was "inappropriate" only quells criticism if the criticism was that the name was "inappropriate" in the first place, which I doubt. Therefore, topic reopened, and back to the previous rant.

With the cards I got from Magic drafts (I did 3 with my friends) and two decks that I bought, I have to say my blue cards are the strongest. It beat an uber-fast goblin deck a couple of times . And I got Akroma's Vengeance one draft and had to leave early, my friends were about to let me keep it but then hey read the text..."Destroy all artifacts, creatures, and enchantments. They can't be regenerated." and then they took it away...I wanted that card

Looks weak. Unless used in one of these combos when you actually get something by losing your creature. But these things are not for me, overcomplicated combos that even their creatures get lost in.

My simple-minded nature still considers blasting with Prodigal Sorcerers a sophisticated tactic.

EDIT: Boo to everyone who doesn't kno who a cantor is.

There's a combo lined up for standard with Enduring Renewal, Wild Cantor and Grapeshot, but I don't think it's going to see play. Too frail. On its own merits you are correct that it is weak, even in limited formats it's subpar.

I hate that if I ever lost these, it would be over 200 dollars just to get 4 copies of each back.

I hate that because of the clocks changing, I actually ended up going an hour longer than usual without my pain medicine, and I woke up feeling like I was going to need to rip my leg off for relief.

Argh! Why do so many people think ICly we should be buddy-buddy with Celest now that the war is over? These people come in here, assert their will over the forest's laws, kill whomever they feel like, murder the sacred spirits, raid villages, cut down the trees of the forest, and then they decide to stop, and people think that makes everything better?
