Guess what, you can do the exact same thing. And we can't meld all the spheres now that demesnes are so limited in size. Requires multiple geomancers working together well, each with support - and no more demesne summon also makes it far more difficult to defend your nodes.

I hate that we prepped for two days, but when it comes time for wildnodes, the timing is just wrong and no one is around to help.

I hate that Wildnodes is truly only a battle between the Cities. Communes can't really compete, unless they're helping one of said cities. You can't go through their Nexus (competition using your nexus? Stomp them!), so you can't go up ahead of time, but have to wait for astroglide. If you DO sneak up ahead of time, there is no Cosmic Plane to step back onto to alleviate insanity. There is only one entrance, instead of the two that cities have available, and that one entrance consumes a fair bit of power.

And in the end, it doesn't come down to combat at all, just to who is the most immature and willing to take any advantage they can get... by typing LINK NODE. That takes no skill whatsoever.

We tried our best to empty our node first. I think Mag managed to do theirs.

Emptying the node doesn't work completely well, because it WILL restore at least once during the competition.

Hate how Covens Cone for the same amount of power as Dark/Starcall Link, but it's three times as deadly for the linkers. I know communes aren't supposed to be good on Astral, but could we at least get some more power per link?

I hate the credit-conversion-per-day limit.

I've tried RPing my character as a somewhat patient individual, however, I myself don't really have any patience. So, eventually, I've reached my boiling point and decided having to deal with idiots/hypocrites every day is getting to me and the good parts were too little rewarding. So I quit.

The problem is I kind of regret the decision and I don't think I want an epilogue like this for that character. Howeverrrr, I don't want to go the drama queen way either: . So I will take a break for now and, if later on I still feel like playing the character, I'll find some sort of plotline to get me back into the action. Maybe reincarnate and go completely batshit -refuse to speak common, go into research, try to marry Soll- (Celest strikes me as full of inbreds at times anyway, what's a few more?!)


This post needs more rant though so yeah, here's some minor stuff: stop snuggling at the pool for hours on an end, stop asking your guildmasters when the next credit sale is (the Aquamancers won't be having one for a while now, I split the credits among all guild officers before leaving ), stop announcing every single goddamn time you get a new level on CT (no one cares!), stop abusing the rofl emote (you're not on IRC, sparky..) aannd...don't play drunk, look what it's doing to me

Sidenote: to the player behind Terentia - thanks for everything. Especially for taking all that time to control every single NPC I felt like nagging at one point or another. Having them actually talk back instead of producing their little coded line added quite a bit to the experience and made for some interesting situations as well

I hate how my fae hit more slowly than a demesne, and for less effect. Ooo, sleep, random afflict, .1 second off balance, 100 health/mana damage every 12 seconds. That hurts so bad.

I hate how my god damn leprechaun is a waste of one power. He's like some weird acquisitio that fires about 1/25 as often. Oh, but he might steal 20 gold, if it's in your inventory, beware!!

I hate trying to compete with a damn Titan for bashing to sanc shrines, on Prime. Go to Astral if you want to hunt.

Paralysis, Dementia/Stupidity/Confusion, damage. Maybe more damage + bleeding if they're in the trees.

But yeah, I wasn't so much comparing to Hartstone, their demesne is rather bleh as well. Although I wouldn't complain about my fae if I you traded me Sap for Waning.
