Paralysis, Dementia/Stupidity/Confusion, damage. Maybe more damage + bleeding if they're in the trees.

But yeah, I wasn't so much comparing to Hartstone, their demesne is rather bleh as well. Although I wouldn't complain about my fae if I you traded me Sap for Waning.

We don't have stupidity. We have hallucinate/dementia/confusion/asthma - rather worthless ones. Especially since non-runists can't give afflictions that are cured by smoking. The damage we deal is laughable except in the trees, when the bleeding is almost useful mana drain. Not that we have a mana kill or anything.

Yes... do not get in a 'who's got crappier offence' fight when you're a moondance healer VS. a hartstone dreamweaver, only bad things come of it. ninja.gif

Many sad, sad hours have I spent arguing with Elryn on aim... sad.gif

I just had a spar with Soll and burn myself out, mindblast is too strong and they should have removed Psionic Burnout as soon as you leave the arena, not fair for us Telekinetic users out there mad.gif

I fscking hate doctors. The bastards ask you for 20+ fscking exams. So you have to drag your arse to a laboratory to have a litre or so of your blood sucked out of you violently by an elderly nurse with shaky hands. And then you go to the lab at fricken 11 AM, without having eaten anything in the last twelve hours, to be told that apparently, one of the six hundred or so substances they're testing four is only produced by your body from 7 to 9 and from 13 to 15, so you'd have to come back another day and take another litre of blood off your veins, if they don't puncture an artery in your arm and cause you to die of internal bleeding this time.

UMM, I hate Panera because in order to work there they're making me take a 3 hour "welcome to panera" class, WHO EVEN CARES?! GOD, CULTISTS.

And I hate my truefavour at the moment because I actually want to know where I am at a skill and what skills I actually have.
Shayle2006-06-26 15:16:32
I hate painting walls, but that's what I am about to go do for the next 6 hours. mad.gif

Dumb painting.

I hate them because they always seem so god damned pretentious.

I hate that my only job really is to interview people who wish to join the Order. I miss being one of the few people who could raise shrines or edit help files. sad.gif

Sylphas2006-06-26 18:16:41
That's your job? He just tossed me to whoever was on. I feel like chattel to be hunted on a whim. tongue.gif

I hate how every single follower of Lisaera has just picked up and joined Charune's Order. I mean, it makes sense, I guess, but it's just a bit silly. "Yep, Lizzie's gone. Next!"

Except.. it really doesn't make sense. Lisaera was a Goddess of magic and the spiritual... where as Charune focuses on the physical.. if you worship one, how do you all of a sudden decide "Hey ya know, my character worships the polar opposite of that as well!"

Its annoying that loyalty is such crap in this game when it comes to Orders, all people do is jump ship, which is totally unrealistic given that Lisaera, for example, is still alive and we know she as a character will be returning eventually.

And I hate that's it's basically just a way of giving Magnagora +1500 power every day, with half discretionary costs and 10% off guards because no-one else has a chance because they always taint/meld the other spheres, and spam them full of creatures.

Not to mention they're practically handed Angkrag by the fact that Serenwilde and Celest can't influence there, and theonly competition is crow cloak users of Glomdoring. I don't know the situation in Acknor, but the current leadership of Celest is like "eeewww tainty village don't like!" whereas previous leadership saw it as an opportunity to "study/eliminate taint" blahblahblah RP whatever. Needless to say I liked the previous administration's stance far better.

I hate coming back from school to censor.gif internet connection. At least I get semi-reasonable wireless half the time, even though it was a royal pain in the nether regioins to set up because my dad is using ancient equipment that doesn't comform to the current wireless standards. Oh well, at least it works.

In other news, I also hate how I'm missing all the important meetings for my tech production crew... I'm on the gor-sucking BOARD OF STUDENT ADVISORS and I can't make it to the meetings because they're all scheduled for when I'm not in town explode.gif At least they can't blame me for not trying to participate (yay e-mail spam)

I actually wasn't going to join his Order but when a God invites you personally and does cool stuff just for you, you kinda change your mind. smile.gif

Oe noes you're being stuffed with propoganda!

actually, I like seeing Charune around so much, it's reassuring that the Divine are looking out for us tongue.gif

I'm just sad because the Order in Achaea that was based around Hunting was awesome from what I heard... Charune's just seems like its going to be filled with a bunch of pacifists and nerds.. which makes absolutely 0 sense.
Vix2006-06-26 19:46:43
Hey, Shikari was sort of a hunting god as well. They don't embody abstract ideas like hunting here. They're not specifically the God of Hunting or the Goddess of Nature. And I hunt. sad.gif

Shikari was about the Kill, with the Hunt being a means.
Charune is about the Hunt, with the Kill just being an end.

And you may hunt.. but 90% of the people in this game bash.. following a God of the Hunt should be something more though.

Way to make up random stuff without actually bothering to ask for clarification. I'd LIKE us to have Acknor, but the reason we don't go for it is mainly just logistics (half of our influencers are enemied to it and getting everyone unenemied is a real pain).
Sylphas2006-06-26 20:46:59
Charune is not Lupus. And so far His order is pretty awesome, except for making me reorganize my mind around which order everyone is in.
