She shouldn't make you feel guilty for doing something in your own best interest, like dropping a class so you don't have a failed class on your transcript. Bad guidance councellor!

And you need a hug.gif .

Nah, its not so much I feel bad its just that all the extra work I have to go through in comparison to everyone else Ive known to drop a course. dry.gif And then saying she had to talk with the principle about it because it couldnt be done without her permisson because of the part-time thing.

Another World.

Good idea. Good setting. Horrible difficulty level. Especially on my motherfriggin' keyboard which doesn't let me press left, up and space at the same time because the little :censored: acts like if I weren't tapping up. Well listen you little pile of crap! I am tapping up and trying to make friggin' Lester jump while he runs! But you won't let me. This means no running away from the beast at 1st level (okay, I can thanks to a glitch). This means no running away from the water at the underground level. I hate the underground level.

This pisses me off so badly that I just beat myself with a wooden stool out of sheer frustration. Really.

my mom gave me the "talk" about dating and all that cuz a friend of mine, who's 23, seems to be getting "friendly" with me in my mom's eyes. Well, I pretty sure he is, but it'll never go anywhere due to the fact I'm not up to dating. I understand where she's coming from, and I know how'd she react if i did date him, since I'm 15 and he's 23. :\\ I'm just grateful that at least my sister knows that I'm practically never going to date until I'm like 25-30 or something like that.

I am kind of sad of the knowledge that as far as the Church in Celest is concerned... there is little or no providence to what I am doing (poke Methrenton), and that it could all be destroyed if I got on someone's bad side who had CLHELP editing perms.
Keep back-up copies offline, that, would be my recommendation. After all of those manses got auto-disconnected and Lisaera had to manually put them all back in all of my Ministry chelps/clhelps/projects/lists went into notepad files, and I even put things onto floppies and what-not, I went on a paranoid saving spree so that I'd never be in that situation again.

I'd be worried if I was your mum, too. There's something very odd about a 23 year old who likes being the pillow of a 15 year old. unsure.gif

You be careful.

I'm too lazy to find the other rants thread, so here is my rant: I can't stand when people, especially novices, salute Arix. He's not a censor.gif ing admiral, people

Reiha wins the award for "Most Incoherent Rant"

I didn't want to bore you with the details...basically customer service. Annnnnd here comes the rant more explained!

Rant: I've accepted this guy's return before, although I said to him it's against our policies, so next time I can't do this please remember to blah blah blah, everything was well and he was happy... I refused his return today, and he said, "Where's the policy written?". As I point to the receipt to show him the lines where it's stated, he interrupts, and says he wants to talk to the store manager. (Also when I asked him if the item was defective, he said no, and then claimed later it was when I told him we could only accept it if it was defetive.) I told him the store manager doesn't handle this stuff (i.e. store manager bitches to us later when he's called over), and he says it has nothing to do with me or the transaction... which doesn't make sense as I mistakenly pointed out ... I call me him over, he complains I'm a bitch to the store manager, and says he was TREATED SO NICELY BEFORE BY SOME GIRL HE CAN'T REMEMBER. Hi, I was that girl, you moron. And hate to say this, but if you ask nicely instead of demanding it, the salesperson is more likely to help you out. Again. Especially if they're not on comission and working a dollar above mininum wage after three years. Not necessarily how things should work but they sometimes do.

I should have just accepted it, but the thing is that if I accepted this return, my dept manage would scold me. And if I refused, I will still get scolded. Either way. Which is frustrating.

He got his return because he said as a loyal customer for like five years he would never buy here again etc ... it weirds me out when people say this cause my mother's been taking me shopping there since I was born (ever since it's been OPEN), and I've never felt the need to an censor.gif to the people that work there just cause the store policy didn't suit me.

Conclusion: This situation was my bad as 'The customer is always right' and I shouldn't have pointed certain inconsistancies out, but I'm only a nitpicky human! And I shouldn't be in customer service, cuz' I terribly suck at it. sad.gif

Edit: ack, sorry for it being so long, but that incident made my day go sour, although I had customers telling me latter I was so nice and doing good at my job :/
Sylphas2006-11-13 00:23:09
Anyone who follows "the customer is always right" is just asking for trouble. They're not always right. They're not right even most of the time. Unless your job really is to do whatever they want, letting them get away with a bunch of censor.gif is actually pretty bad customer service, because it's inconsistent and arbitrary.

WHY THE censor.gif IS MY COMPUTER MAKING THE CLICK NOISE RANDOMLY?

I've run adaware, actually installed and ran symantec, rebooted, etc, etc. As far as I can tell, my computer is clean and nothing is actually happening. But it's making a goddamn click sound effect every few seconds, sometimes a few in a row. It's driving me nuts, and I'm seriously contemplating just reformatting my hard drive again.
