The hotel bit was magnificient. Absolutely magnificent. Especially when they crashed those insurance salesmen in that conference... ahh.. wub.gif

Ok, yes, that was hilarious. So was the bit in the elevator.

You didn't get any of the subtle parts of the humor in the movie then if you thought it was just a slap stick sex joke movie.

Did I say that? No I didn't. I said I was laughing my head off but in a "agh the pain make it stop" sort of way, not particularly enjoyable from my point of view.

Too lazy to make a new topic, but does anybody know how to go about reporting one's workplace for constantly cheating a person out of over time pay? Any info is appreciated, thanks muchly.

I don't know where you live, but I think reporting them to your state's department of employment or employment development department or whatever (different states call it different things) would work. Easiest way to do it would be to get your local phone book and go to the blue (it's usually blue, sometimes grey) section with all your state and city government listings, find one with the word employment in it and call it. If that's not the right one, they'll direct you to the one that is.

I want to say you can report it to the attorney general of your state too, but I'm not sure. Your workplace should have a sign up somewhere with all the employment info on it, minimum wage regulations, workers comp and all that stuff. There might be a number on it you can call too.

Your workplace should also have a human resources (HR) department. You might consider going to them, too.

They are pullin that crap with her, like working her 60 hours one week and 19 hours the next. Then they say since they pay her bi weekly it is not overtime... anything over 80 is overtime.... Gotta love companies who abuse the employees that way... No need to give her benifits when she is "part-time" either.

Ooh... a lot of places do that sort of thing. It's horrid! Plus, I think in some states it's actually legal, but I can't be sure. unsure.gif
Daganev2006-11-27 23:18:28
The game industry is notorious for that stuff.
Sylphas2006-11-28 00:08:17
I quit my last job when they pulled that shit. Place I work now absolutely will not pay overtime; if I've attended a committee meeting or something, I have to take hours off. Totally cool with me, most times, though it can get annoying if I have work to do.

As in she should have gone up after she beat the first gravedigger, not went down and met the queen.
