I'm so upset.......

Apparently my work has had some sort of accounting snafu and there's not enough money for payroll or something and so I won't know until tomorrow if my check even got deposited. There's a chance it didn't because of insufficient funds, but because of the way things are set up...what with me having to overnight my checks and what-not (which is a whole other issue) I won't know till the morning. Which means I've got all night to worry and fret and worry and fret and worry.

I really try to look on the bright side of things and adopt a 'if I can't do anything about it, I won't worry about it' mentality.... but I've got bills due days ago I was COUNTING on this check to pay. I've got rent due.

I'm trying to push the worry away, but honestly, it's not working.

What the hell kind of place doesn't keep enough money for paying their employees??????????? I'm giving notice if I don't have money in my account tomorrow. I'll find another job and work more at Target in the mean time - at least stupid Target pays me when they're supposed to!

Notice? that. If they can't even manage to pay you, you really owe them nothing. Can't get much of a better reason to quit then, "they stopped paying me."

It is illegal to bounce employee payroll checks.

Maybe that'd be enough of a threat to keep them from giving me a bad reference if I do have to quit and find a new job.

I officially hate the lady at my bank's 24 hour customer service line I talked to last night though cause she was all like "If it had been deposited, it would at least show up in the pending, and I'm not seeing it there"

Scared me for NOTHING!

I do think that from now on, I'm cashing my check, buying a money order, and sending that to my bank in lieu of the check, so I can be SURE this doesn't happen again.

But yay for being able to pay bills and rent!

It's the middle of the night here and I think I might have woken somebody up with how hard I laughed.

I work as a contractor for the country's largest home furnishings store. By contract, they're supposed to pay me weekly. On average, I get paid every two weeks, three days. It's not because they lack the money. They take in over a million dollars a week. Actually, during the holiday season, probably a million a day. It's because it's inconvenient to get my check signed.

I would find it inconvenient to work for them. As a contractor, I'd assume you have a contract. Wouldn't not following that be illegal?

The only thing I enjoy about Christmas is eggnog, and it is always ruined for me.

They make a lot of interest by keeping your pay and other employee's pay in their account for that extra week and a bit.

I hate the fact that I've done nothing today on Lusternia but have two different arguements, both of them lasting a fairly long time, and now I have a stomach ache from it.

I hate that I'm on nexus right now, as I'm housesitting for the weekend.

And there's one TV, which the girlfriend is using, so there's no Wii hooked up to it.

I got a call from my aunt saying my cousing is starting to skip meals, starve herself to loose some pounds, and spends her money on vanity stuff.

Makes me feel uncomfortable editing model's pictures for magazine covers. I feel like I'm an instrument of lies and vanity. Just so you all know, 99.8% of what you see on print media are edited!! All heavily edited! Fake. None are flawless. None! They are just there for the money.

Fake body, fake boobs, fake lips, fake eyes, fake face.. everything.

The remaining .2% are unedited papparazzi pictures where celebrities are supposed to look ugly and/or stupid.

I hate that I have a headache now from more arguing with a character that my character enjoyed speaking with previously. Naturally, it's all a game, and I'm only playing a character that's twisted and evil, but it's one of those things where the player is unhappy as well.

Think I need to take a break for the rest of the weekend.


I also hate that when confronted with something, my character would have lied about it, but I let my own honesty get in the way, and I got screwed. Piss poor roleplayer if I can't seperate my own feelings.

I hate that my head hurts from staring at this screen most of the day, doing something special for someone.... but alas, I hope these alleve kick in soon, I am no where near done yet.

I also hate that I have to go retar a roof tomorrow when it is 28 degrees out, because someone feels the need to be too busy to do it when he is back on the weekends, and that somehow this home repair shit falls in my lap when he is too "tired", but yet seems to find the time to go hang out at a crack house all day.... meh
