Its not fun to have an animal be put down.my hometown is a wreck... got hit by a strong typhoon, mom texted me saying that the roof was stripped off by the winds, the wooden furnitures are ruined, most of the appliances are destroyed (especially my favorite comp where I put all my favorite files in there), beds are wet so they can't sleep well...

Nothing as bad as Lysandus here, but I was sitting in my room last night chilling with a bowl of soup and a good movie when I hear this crash on the hallway like someone is throwing a garbage bag from the floor above and pulling it over the floor behind him. Thinking it's my housemates up to something bizarre again I stick my nose outside my door only to notice the hallway being covered in stone and dirt. Seems that the wall next to the stairs to the floor above has this huge hole on the inside of it (outer wall is fine, thankfully). There's water dripping out of it also. Probably never noticed there being a leak there since nobody lives on the third floor.
It's only something small, but good enough to scare me, especially since a moment before I thought "ah, such a nice quiet evening"
Kinda got in a panic over it, my housemates think it's funny it happened, but it cost me my night's sleep instead of catching up on it. Going to be fun telling the landlord his wall is ruined also. Hope it doesn't get worse now.

There are some workmen outside my office, drilling at an offensively loud volume into the road. I also have a terrifically awful, throbbing hangover. Urgh.
Urgh.Wow, bad weather everywhere. Lysandus, my condoloences on your troubles Jillian, Good luck woth that landlord. My story is that there was a small tornado in London, only a mile or two away from my house. I was only a couple of streets away when it happened. Bloody freaky, and I'm glad I was indoors. Either way, half my best friend's windows got blown in, and his garden wall is damaged and some other guy had most of his wall torn off.

Heh, people pounce on me for questions all the time, and I'm a cashier so I'm not trained in any department. When going to and from the break room on the other side of the store, I walk really fast and make eye contact with no one, otherwise it'll be a half hour trip each way
And yeah, name tags are annoying. Creepy people call you by name, and you're held accountable for your actions.
