On the other computer, again, so it means being on Nexus, none of my guilds work as it's on my computer (Sorry Shorlen, it'll be a bit as I hand copy it out) and the start of the headaches again. Joy. At least we know now, it's not the cords as we just changed them!

This has been semi-fixed after a night and morning of frustration on Nexus. It only works on one computer, but it wont be switching off from my computer.

It is. And so overused by teenaged guys. sad.gif

It's because of the highly plausible marketing campaign.

Axe is a chemical weapon

I don't use the spray stuff on my self, I use the regular non-spray Axe deoderant. The canned stuff is for department store perfume ladies and friends who didn't shower

Wait...I like Axe...I wear it.

Sue me, I like smelling clean and not like a flower garden or a fruit basket. When they make ladies deoderant/body spray that doesn't smell like that or baby powder, I'll wear what's appropriate to my gender. Until then, it's red zone body wash and axe stuff all the way. Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I want to drown in nauseating scents to smell CLEAN and nice.

Do you often get confused women chasing you around trying to rip off your clothes?
Arix2007-03-05 00:03:49
I love those commercials. The ones for Tag are funny too

No...don't know if that's unfortunate, but it could be entertaining...
I was hoping Axe could be a woman's boy repellant. No such luck.

I've seen your picture, you'd need a fair bit of repellent for it to be any use

I know about boys and observations. It's why I carry a knife and sabre spray.

You do? I don't know what sabre spray is but carrying a knife is just silly...and illegal here.
Arix2007-03-05 10:39:44
Sabre Spray is like, the pepper spray the police use. Also, this is why I'm an ass most of the time, being nice is more trouble than it's worth
Arkzrael2007-03-05 10:54:41
Sabre spray is something every girl should carry, if it's legal to do so in their state. It's a mix of pepper spray, CS military tear gas, and UV paint. The paint takes three days to wash off, and lights up in a police flashlight beam. They can't see, they can't breathe. It's about $8 for a purse-sized can, you can get it at a pawn shop or other shop where self-defense items are sold.

As far as knives, state of Kansas law is that the sharpened blade part must be no longer than 4" if it is carried on the person. Also, concealed carry just went into effect on the first of January, though I haven't perused the full extent of that law yet.

Fun facts. -shrug-

But I got in the habit of keeping both in my car or purse while I was working for the USPS, we were having at least one car a day being broken into in the parking lot, and the building was in a very bad neighbourhood. I worked until 1am ish. And I'm paranoid. Nyah.
Arix2007-03-05 11:02:06
heh, I used to work night shift at 7-11, I know the paranoia. Mind, I've also been robbed at gunpoint while working at that store, so it's somewhat justified.

Dude...I got robbed working at a Subway of all places...the guy didn't even make off with 50 dollars. O.o
7-11s are dangerous! Be careful! People in KS keep getting shot at them.
Arix2007-03-05 11:28:12
this guy locked himself out of his car and tried to get away on foot. he g ot arrested like 4 blocks away because we called the cops right after he left
Unknown2007-03-05 12:26:17
Fair enough. I've just always believed that bringing out something like a knife is likely to escalate a situation. I'd rather let someone have my wallet and phone than be responsible for killing someone.
Alodia2007-03-05 13:22:51
Or just dazzle the bugger, hit them with aeon then go for judgement! biggrin.gif

Oh... wait this is the real world...

Try bargaining at least before giving your stuff? You'll never know...
Unknown2007-03-05 13:34:33
Oh I wouldn't just hand it over if someone was mean and demanded it. I'm not sure what I'd do but the situation has never come up anyway. I'm tall and walk around with an angry look on my face so I'm pretty much never bothered by anyone, even if I am ridiculously gay sometimes. Apparently tallness/angriness deters people.
