Whatever you use as your symbol should represent your main aspect with its most dominent connotation.

The Hunt most instinctive meaning would be the physical hunt. So, people are going to assume, logically, that Charune's main aspect is the physical hunt.

I'm not trying to argue with what he should do or teach, i'm just saying I think its silly if the physical hunt isn't his main aspect, and saying that he can't really look down at people for reading his help file and looking at his symbol and assuming something--that is what those helpfiles and symbols are for, to show you something about the God from a distance.

That's my only point. He can do whatever He wants, I know that, and I don't care what he does. My comments were simply to state that I personaly think its silly. Its an opinion. I'm entitled to it. I think its silly. Does it matter what I think? not at all. But I will defend why I think something if called on it; if I couldn't defend an opinion, then I shouldn't even have it.

Actually I don't have a problem if that's what you think from reading his helpfile and seeing his order symbol. I have a problem if you think that is the only thing he is about because of that. Lord of the Hunt is only -one- of the names he is known as and not even the one he carries as a title, so if you assume that he is only about the hunt and that a name that he is known by is the final proof of such, then you are mistaken.

However, to think "hey this god is about the hunt, I wonder what he means by that exactly" and then go and talk to him about it, that's perfectly fine. Just don't assume the your preconceptions are correct and that his order should be about certain things because of your preconceptions. Tomorrow Charune could have something entirely different in his hands. An item is just that, an item. Tomorrow he could be all about sacrifice, another of the things he is known by. However, it doesn't really matter, I have told you you are wrong, and the only thing that really matters is what happens in game. Where those that actually talk to Charune find out what he is about and what the hunt means and symbolises.

I've always thought of Sinister as a more blatent thing.. like "the sinister implement" being some sort of crazy mad scientist's tool. The thing itself may not be evil, but it sure feels that way.

I never viewed Daganev as Sinister, because he didn't radiate that sort of aura, and I relate Sinister with an aura. That's just my definition and how I tend to use it in my writing. So don't take that too much into account
