I just told my boss (though not in so many words) to get off his and make his own lists if he wants lists so badly, I've got actual work to do. I mean, none of it is anything that he can't look up himself! He wants me to stop what I'm doing, lookup all this stuff, then get with him in a meeting to prioratize items in the list so that I can work on them - meanwhile the work I was doing is left undone.
I suggested that maybe it would be best if I kept doing the work I'm doing that has to get done and soon while HE look up the info and prioratize it however he likes and then when he's done, he gives it to me and I'll get it done exactly in the order he wants.
Makes sense to me anyway.

Heh, my old boss would do things like call my away from my register to bring him something off the table that was 5 feet away from him. I think a requirement for being put in charge at some places is the candidate must have no common sense or ability to do things for themselves.

I really didn't want to start a fight; just hard when you go to upload something and have to convert it to .rtf to drop more than half the file size.
Thats why I answered you, because my father has the same problem.
He's been writing a few books lately, and he has to sometimes split up the word docs so that he can store them on his 256mb flash drive, and he complains about that loudly

I hate that I have no time to play any more, especially with nifty things happening.
I work between 40 and 50 hours a week, come home, spend time with my girl, go to bed, wake up and repeat.
How do other people with full-time jobs--and even spouses and children--manage so much IG time? I'm really quite amazed by it all. What secret am I missing? As it stands, I only even get time to read or play an hour or so of games on the weekends, which really isn't enough time to play a solid character IG even iif I used that time to play Lusternia rather than, say, Spider-man 3.

I can't say that I'm able to be logged in all that much anymore myself however, what I am currently doing is:
1. Working 60 hours a week
2. Moving to a new apartment
3. planning my wedding
4. going to the Gym twice a week
5. Being with my friends and family so they don't get mad at me
This leaves me being able to play during my lunch break, and for about 1 hour max at night. I spend most of my time early morning sunday and late saturday nights, unless I just turn to everybody and say "I need a break, don't talk to me for the next 2 hours"

I wish I didn't have time for lusternia...

My Crackdown disc that I pretty much bought for the Halo 3 beta isn't letting me download the beta yet, even though the beta started 19.5 hours ago. I'm annoyed. Fortunately Crackdown is good too, otherwise I'd be really annoyed.

Annoying emo girl I mentioned earlier?
She's gone! SQUEEE, she's GONE!
No more having to keep my eyes open for some chick with creepy makeup and an even creepier hairstyle.
No more having to watch every dark corner of the school incase she suddenly walks 50 mph and appears right at my shoulder.
I mean, no offense to her as a person, I guess. I didn't have resort to Jigan's 'advice' of pushing her down there stairs to get my message across if all else fails. Strangely enough, it looks like she's hooked up with some emo guy...who looks exactly like her. Long freaky hair, freaky makeup. Probably has Mudvayne's little symbol drawn all over himself, too.
Aanyways...
Freedom! Whee!

My English 11 class. I'm more or less the only non-illiterate person in it. Including the teacher who's idea of teaching is putting on a tape and playing solitaire.
Druken2007-05-17 01:43:08
Ugh, I feel for you, Othero. In my highschool sophomore class, the teacher was ok, but her defunct teaching method included a dozen videos of ancient Rome and a final paper on Latin (which we never studied).
That was when she was actually THERE. She took weeks off for maternal leave, came back for a month, then took a few more weeks off for post-maternal leave leave.

Losing sight of what you intended your character to be and/or finding his personality doesn't fit with his homeland.
That's my rant.
EDIT: Oh, and that the Serenwilde is kinda reminding me of Ashtan (in Achaea, not Aetolia) for whatever reason.

ARRRRGH!
My boss.... I swear to god.
What the man knows about using the internet could fit in a freakin thimble, and yet he's trying to run an internet based business. It's soooo stupid! He won't listen to our programmers, he won't listen to me, he won't listen to anyone who doesn't just agree with whatever inane, idiotic, bass-ackwards thing he's got running through his brain at the moment.
We tell him things and he's all like, "I've heard this before" and, "I've been told this before." But he still persists in ignoring or shooting down everything we say and I just want to grab him by the ears and shake him until his nose bleeds and yell "Listen to me if you've heard it so many times from so many people, then maybe you ought to BELIEVE IT!"
