I'm housesitting for my mom.

I hate her dog. I have for the last couple days.

I got two burritos from Taco Bell for dinner. I ate half of one, got a phone call...come back, and it's all gone.

This bastard dog that won't leave my heels ate my dinner. I was really hungry, too. sad.gif

What kind of dog is it? Is it one of those yappy lapdogs or a huge drooly one?

It's a relatively small, quiet, and very pretty dog. I couldn't tell you the breed. Brown and black with white accents. Long nose. I'll try to look it up.

I really want an iPhone, but censor.gif AT&T/Cingular isn't available in my city. Instead, its available like 10 miles away, but that doesn't help me.

And I really really want an iPhone.

It's a Shelti.

In the morning, it'll be sausage.

People's obsession with cell phones annoys me. I can't imagine ever paying $600 for a phone, especially if you already have a cell that still works. Then there is the monthly fee that can go over $100/month.

Plus people are always talking on their phones making them terrible drivers and just plain annoying.

My cell phone lives happily in my car, turned off. I don't even know my own phone number tongue.gif

My monthly fee is near $100, and it's cheaper than what long distance would cost me. unsure.gif

And my contract is up for renewal, so I can get a big mail-in rebate if I get a new phone.

If you can afford an iPhone, you can manage to find transport there and back.

I hate that being exhausted and konked out on allergy medicine has made me too tired to log in for the last two days. But I plan on making up for it this weekend! laugh.gif

No, no, you don't understand. Its not that there's no store in my city, but there's no AT&T/Cingular service in my city. They won't give it to me. Its considered a "partner" area, where your phone can get coverage, but if you make a majority of your calls from there, they'll cancel your contract and charge you an early cancelation fee on top of it.

If you can afford an iPhone, you can afford to drive 10 miles away to make all your phone calls.

I begin to regret indulging myself and picking a fight with two large men last night by tailgating them. I may have gotten away, but they know where I live and have rammed potatoes up my exhaust pipe.

I hate how everyone has to drink to have fun. I always liked to think of my friends as above that, but it gets harder to lie to myself sad.gif

Some of my friends say this, but every time they do we just pity them a bit more for not having a clue. I don't know your friends, so maybe they do, but sometimes people drink to have fun, not because they have to, but because they want to. They'll also do other, perfectly sober, fun things.

Not wanting to drink is perfectly fine, not wanting to be around your friends when they drink is also perfectly fine, though they might get annoyed by it. Saying they have to drink to have fun makes them sound like alcoholics, and that's not fine.

Sorry, no offense to you or your friends, just a pet peeve of mine.

That's very true. Of course, then you have people, like one of my little sisters who admits, even boasts (like it's something to be proud of??) that she's not having a good time if there's not a beer in her hand and complains anytime she has to do something fun where drinking isn't allowed that it would be more fun if she had a beer.

That's highly annoying and sad.

Well, if I said that they *really want* to drink to have fun will it make you feel better? It makes no difference to me, they're effectively the same as far as I'm concerned. Where there are parties, they either are drinking or want to be drinking and complain that there isn't anything alcoholic there, and I hate it. I wouldn't go to the parties where there is alcohol, but they're my only friends and I'd hardly see them if I didn't go. unsure.gif

There is a girl I know who is obsessed with Bud Light. Nearly all of her pictures on facebook are of her drinking, her AIM buddy icon is Bud Light, and she has a Bud Light sticker on her cell phone. Its depressing. sad.gif
