The undersec you're talking about tends to pop in for a little while and leave again, in my experience... *blush* (note to self: talk to Jitwix about it.) We've also recently reworked our advancement tests, so not every undersec is up to date on what the advancement rites are supposed to be like. Again, that's our shortcoming, working on it.

In any case, if I'm around poke me or something and I'll be glad to watch your advancement rite, as should be several others... And I know this is a rants section but I'd just like to say:

Yes, Shorlen is great. He helped me relearn a lot of this I forgot..and learn somethings I never knew about.

Im glad to see its getting worked on, and I will honestly work to help this when I do finally graduate (5 hours and 48 minutes left) cause there is always a need for more people.

I really dislike when totems or statues are tuned so generically that they have the potential to hit newbies, regardless of whether or not said newbies have been warned not to go somewhere.

I really dislike it when people who really should know better keep coming into said territory, especially to hunt for spiders, causing such totem/statue modifications.

I really dislike it how Glomdoring has the sole non-village source for an item required for a very important quest that is neutral and not Glom-based, and refuses to allow anyone else to take the items without fighting or stealth.

There's no reason you should be overly protective of your spiders. Anymore than Serenwilde is protective of the salamanders in our river.

It's just cruel to go out of your way to maintain absolute control of those 5 monopolies.

Except for the fact that they are creatures created by Viravain, and are, in fact, part of how she chooses to represent herself?

They don't like people in their forest, yet you expect them to make an exception for you killing their Patron's creations? Riiiight.

I dislike how people think we should allow people unhindered entrance into our territory, simply because we have something they want-- it's not like Serenwilde doesn't attack me if I go to say hello to pixies or pet the squirrels!
