I was cleaning a stain off the carpet. Except I tried to do it using deodorant, and wasn't paying much attention. Then thought I stank, reached up to get the can of lynx from my mantle, which was carpet cleaner., and gave myself a spray of the stuff until I realised my armpits felt kind of.. fluffy. Looked down and it looked as if I was growing a pair of enormous white beards from my pits, while my carpet reeks of.. well, deodorant.

My dog decided to try and fight a skunk while I was walking her. The skunk sprayed, missed my dog but the smell seems to be hanging around the neighborhood. It wouldn't be horrible but a skunk sprayed the neighborhood last fall, and the fall before that.

Annnnnd because the game was out, I decided to pick up my copy of the first book in the main witcher saga. Unfortunately, there was the small, yet oddly significant problem of it being torn in half, and I'll be buggered if I can find it anywhere in town or online to buy it.

Edit: And the damn bank hasn't gotten back to me yet. I want to transfer my banking to them, but no, transfering my credit card over is somehow a three week long ordeal, and a car loan a month long. It took me TWENTY MINUTES to get approved last time I wanted a loan. TWENTY. FUGGING. MINUTES.

I went to the grocery store and noticed that there were recall orders on nearly every aisle. What ever happened to inspecting food BEFORE it went out to be consumed by the public?

The same thing happened that allowed jobs to go out to shoddy foreign companies who cut corners at the risk of endangering your health.

Sometimes the problem isn't always obvious when they do the inspection.

The best thing is when you actually WORK at the grocery store, and you get new products in. Then two days later we have to put signs up saying the product's been recalled!

If you need help, or tutorial in photoshop pm me in the forums. I rarely log in ingme now. I used to teach advanced photoshop techniques 2 years ago as a sideline. Ahehehe! Though color rendering is not my forte, I can also help you with that. SPecial effects in photoshop is my niche.

It's only expensive if you want it to be.

And like I said while I was giving you tutorial links, if you don't have a tablet it's going to be nearly impossible by default.

Quick catch-up:

Antivirus - use FSecure if you're brave. It is the best, but it also doesn't play nicely with other programs. If you try to run it with another anti-virus or anti-spiware program you will be screwed. I use Nod32 instead. It is fast, lightweight, and works amazingly well. Downside is it's a pain to setup. Don't use Norton or Trend; they don't come out as well on any of the tests I have ever seen. AVG is good in that it is free, but it also doesn't come out far ahead of the others in tests.

Photoshop - it is a pain to use now, but Adobe is coming out with some awesome new stuff. I'm especially excited about this.

Rant - babies don't sleep long enough. People always say babies sleep alot - and it's true. She sleeps probably 18 hours a day. The problem is she never sleeps more than a couple of hours at once. She starts screaming just long enough that I get up and go in to rock her, then she falls asleep. I go back to bed, and we repeat the episode in another couple of hours. Last week, she actually had the nerve to cry during Heroes!
