Awesome temporary job offer with good pay, but it starts right before exams and ends right after exams and takes up the entire weekends (and overlaps with one weekend when the Green Living Show takes place) ... ugh, I don't know whether to accept or not ='(
This should be a rave. Having the option to work for good pay is better then not having the option

I spent the entire day debugging a linux system because its not connecting to the network..
After so many hours of tinkering and editing every known configuration file I could think of, an officemate walked by and.. connected the network cable to the computer..
Gee, why didnt I thought of that..

My school studies aren't colliding well with my home life. Grrr.
Background: In May, I've got my very first AP exam coming up. Over the summer, I'm taking Chemistry and Algebra II, so that my Junior year I'll be taking 3 AP classes (US History, American Lit, Chemistry), and then another 3/4 more in more Senior year.
So, yeah. First time in my life, I'm going to have to study. Problem is, I can't!
Soon as I get home from school, one of the parental figures will be there watching television. They'll leave for work in a few minutes, giving me 5 minutes of peace before my brat sibling comes home. He'll most likely nag me to get off the computer, sit around watching television on an obnoxiously loud volume, or constantly move from upstairs to downstairs and disrupt my concentration. (I've got this big thing with people coming too close to the back of my comp chair. Stop looking at my screen, you buggers! Every time someone comes near, I scroll away from chat boxes, minimize internet, whatever.)
More often than not, one of the parental figures will also have the day off! While they'd normally be sleeping, they do that while I'm at school, so chalk up one more distraction. Going upstairs to my bedroom in this situation is out of the question, as the desk there is very uncomfortable, I share the room with my brother (can't stand it), and my brother will likely be playing a game up there. Asking him to leave promptly causes a high-pitched riot through the house, and leaves me with little options!
So, yeah. Waking up early (5 AM or so) to do homework and/or doing it after school in the library has been working so far, but the sleep deprivation is catching up to me.
(And, criminy, the house is full on my 4-day weekend. Only time I'm in a room alone is now, 3 AM, when everyone FINALLY heads to bed! >< )
Did I mention it's unbelievably hot, too? Just a little side rant, there, considering I'm always having to have the fan off and there isn't any silence!

It started out as a rave-worthy thing, but as I realized the impending conflict with exams and the dilemma I was faced it quickly went downhill from there
@Alianna: Ah, I've had to put up with that for the past few years, though I don't think it's as bad as your situation... I have my own room at least Would love to be able to get a place for myself -sigh-
And cats can have allergies to themselves? That's so sad! :'(

Do you have a public library you can study at? They're required to be quiet places.

Get your mom to have you and your brother, or just your brother allergy tested. It'll confirm if it's the cat or just dust that's doing it and if it is the cat, they do make shots for that. It might reduce the problem to where you don't need to actually get rid of the cat.

Another study rant.
Although this is entirely my own fault. First I signed up for 3 maths modules this year, 120 points, which means I am doing the equivalent of a full time degree program, part-time! That means my monday and wednesday evenings are taken up by maths tutorials. Then in my infinite wisdom I decided to start a beginners French class in February which runs on Thursday evenings, and because I'm just slightly deranged (But also because I read Sartre - Nausea and loved it! (Which may mean I'm more than just slightly deranged?)) I just HAD to sign up for an introductory course on Existentialism which will be running on Tuesday evenings.
Now I'm looking at my schedule for the next 2 months, which includes 8 assignments for the 3 maths courses, and I feel very very silly for signing up to so much, and yet, here I am procrastinating on the Lusternia Forums.
They offered me the post of King of Procrastination once, but I couldn't be bothered to go pick up the crown.
Sigh.

Long time not used, but I need to get rid of this:
First, I get pneumonia because I help my uncle with forest-work a bit and wasn't dressed properly enough for the stupid cold wind. Okay, so I had fever for the past five days, still have it, haven't eaten more than a slice of bread for the pills the last four days and can't even work out, which is like my favorite hobby. Nooo, I also can't meet this really cute chick that likes the same stuff I do, can cook and adores me this weekend. Fine. And NOW my heating-system died, and I am not sure if it can be repaired. That means I am looking at a good chunk of money lost AND the next few days cold due to the great (sarcasm) weather in austria when I should only be in a warm place. Life sucks hard right now. Bah.

I'm just about pissed off at everything right now.
Can't go a day without being told I'm a failure by someone in my family anymore. My mother apparently believes I am a close-minded individual because I won't place my trust in a guy I've known for a whole of 2 weeks and know is a drunken...well, I won't use the profanity I would like to and just leave it there.
I'm likely losing my cat within the next few days and I can't find a home for him, so yay, he gets to go back to the shelter after 5 years where he'll get put down? My grandparents, who I do not get along with so well, are moving down near me soon. My allergies are getting worse. My asthma is pretty much trying to kill me.
To top it off, I can't find any socks. Not one.
I think my frustrations are actually starting to reflect IG, or so people have so kindly told me over AIM and MSN.
I need a break from life..How can I get one of those?
Edit;;

Don't worry about what people from the game say too much about your frustrations reflecting IG either. Perhaps just do something that makes you feel good too! Always a nice way to make yourself feel better.

I hate when they re-release books when their movies come out and plaster a movie poster on the cover. Like wtf? I wanted to pick up I Am Legend, but the only copy I could find was one with Will Smith on the cover.. and as I'm reading it, it just doesn't fit, because the character in the book is a blonde-haired white dude from "English and German stock." I like Will Smith and all.. but it seriously annoys me when they alter a book in such a way that the cover becomes a contradiction to what's inside.

My wife has a 6 year old, which she was told she has neither rights to, nor responsibilities. We recently recieved a letter stating that the father is jobless, and has applied for foodstamps/ TANF/ What have you. Thus, the state of Texas is coming after her, and of course since I have a job, me, to the tune of $12,000 in back support and $250 a month. The attorney we found who will take the case, has a retainer of 3500, and costs 250 an hour after that.
Now, I work at a plant, work 48-58 hours a week for about 11.50 an hour, and still barely make it. So, not only will I have to take a second job, and she has to start babysitting other peoples kids.. but this will SERIOUSLY cut down on my Lusty time, except for maybe weekends.
Life sucks
