I find it shocking that the school has only one record of your schedule, that it was a hard copy, and they entrusted said piece of information and documentation solely to you.

I am feeling oppressed and poor because I need this dress, and this dress and these boots. I need a raise. How cute would those boots look with those dresses and half of everything else I own. I also need this perfume. I wonder if I can get the man to see the investment value of Betsey Johnson...
I also need to get "The Teaches of Peaches" out of my head too.

Egads.
You know, I consider a $20 pair of shoes to be splurging and only buy them when I can't find my standard $15. And I'm the kind of person who wears his shoes down, and only buys one or two pairs a year barring misfortune.
The boots and either dress are probably more than all my D&D books and clothing combined. I fail to see why people spend so much on clothing like that unless they were some sort of holy object. Like if the Pope made the boots, and you were Catholic. Pope boots, $900 plus going to the confessional for spending so much on boots and not having enough for an offering afterwards. Course, if he was selling his miter/hat thingy, I'd totally buy it. I want his hat.
But the real questions are, how often will you wear them and how long until one of them gets a tear or scuff that ruins it?

Luckily, I found my schedule.
They have it online on a no-right-clicking site to be printed out, but then I'd sort of need a printer.
I could go to the school to get it, but, that'd be a 2 - 3 bus - train endeavor.
All's good, rant's done.

I accidentally got caffeine free coke at the store.
Now I've got a whole 12 pack of the stuff.

I can sympathize with you, Bhiele .
I'm contemplating whether I want to splurge and buy this: http://www.tobi.com/product/10579-helmut-l...atshirts-hooded

Try drinking diet Pepsi in my family when father goes to the store. He has brought home his and my sister's 24 packs of coke cans, and has brought home a set of half and half Pepsi for my mom and me, half diet and half regular. My mom and I only drink diet.

My condolences. I spent good money on Dr Pepper Zero, and it tasted empty, as if they'd somehow managed to distill and carbonate the taste of broken dreams and shattered promises.

Whoever bought you a thesaurus and a "My first fantasy novel" guide needs to be shot.

Helmut Lang is awesome. Finally, someone who understands me! You should buy it, it would look hawt on you.
Druken2008-08-03 22:13:09
Whoa. Yes, buy it, Ash.
Edit: I just bought $250 Giorgio Brutini dress boots and a $219 Jules Jurgensen watch. So, clearly, the rant is that not enough people know who they are to chat with me.

Oh I know I know! I bought my Dad a Jurgensen about four or five years ago.

Uh. I'm the sort of a person who buys the majority of her clothes from flea markets/has friends who make them or such. Whoah.

People spend 200+ on shoes alone (in which they freak out if they get dirty).

I have never been able to repress my affection for Howard Phillips Lovecraft, whose verbosity is matched only by his ability to use a lot of words.

But thats ok for hippies.
I used to agree that cheaper clothes were ideal... but lately I've been buying my clothes instead of letting my parents, and the more expensive stuff does seem nicer... however, I still say that paying more then $100 for any article of clothing except maybe coat or dress clothes is crazy
Edit: I could also use a nicer watch, my $20 walmart watch doesn't really give the right image at work or at weddings... damn it, society is slowly turning me into a consumer whore

Convert, Acrune!
The big buys, posted above, are for my job. I'm a writing tutor at the college during the day and a waiter in a chic restaurant in the evenings, so looking supremely spiffy has its functionality in a nice, aesthetically pleasing wrapping. Not that I feel like I have to explain myself - I own a lot of absurdly expensive things and I'm damn proud of it - but these actually had a real usefulness.

I suspect you were him. Someone performed a Frankenstein experiment, leaving him with the body of a scrawny british emokid and you are powered entirely by mice and what human misery you cause, a miasma of darkness you can reap at will anywhere in the world. Or possibly just by coke and chips.
Damnit, now I'm doing it too.
