Essays. Stupid literature essays. And having to take English literature classes in the first place. Look, I have no interest in learning about why Shakespeare's characters act as they do or why poets chooses their words as they do. If I was interested, I'd look that stuff up myself. It's not like I'd ever use these things ever again.

And the worst part? I have another full year of it once this year is over.

Being unable to work out at the time I want to because of work. Also being forced to work by my mom. School starts in two weeks, I want to tighten up a little before then.

Also, I hate English Lit classes. Creative Writing classes are fun. But English Lit? Bleh.

Yesterday my sister, her fiance and I spent like six hours on the beach. Beautiful clear water, amazing white sand, bright sunny day... and three idiots who didn't realize that you're supposed to apply the sunblock 20 minutes before you plan on going out, not once you're already on the beach and that even though the stuff says 'water proof' you really should reapply after you've been in the ocean. I am so burned! I was supposed to go parasailing today and couldn't because I can't really even walk I'm so burned and the harness straps would make me cry. Even my lips are burned! I woke up this morning and they were all swolen and I swear it looked like someone had punched me in the mouth!

I hurt all over! Even my toes are sunburned!

Embarrassingly, some of the sunblock did soak in enough to work (or I applied it thicker in some spots than others) because there are blotches and stripes and streaks of non-burned skin amidst the lobster-red burned skin. I look like I have some sort of crazy skin condition!

If it makes you feel better, I get like that after about an hour of being out in the sun with SP 45 on.
