That looks like a course with hard material that has standards so loose that anyone can squeak by with a C.
Hazar2008-08-20 02:44:51
That looks like my favorite kind of course.

according to my friend, last semester in Thermodynamic... out of 20 something students, only 2 got an A, the rest either failed or got a D

90% for an A? Yikes =S
Though the mark distribution isn't horrible, a fifth of your mark based on quizzes is nice.
60-70% finals FTW u_u

Softcore. I need 50% for a D-equivalent if I'm lucky. 60% if I'm not.
EDIT: That didn't sound too much like comforting. But anyway, looks like you pass. Really.

Delayed rant (by three weeks) : Miscarriages.
Main rant:
My 23 year old sister gave birth to twins a month and a half ago. They were preemies and she had a C-section.
It turns out she has an enlarged uterus now, with internal bleeding, and needs to get it taken out. But they can't yet because her health insurance won't cover it.
On top of that, her OBGYN (the same as mine!) messed up her C-Section. How? He ( A ) accidentally took out one of her ovaries and ( B ) partially sewed her kidney.
And oddly enough, I'm not panicking about her that much, I'm panicking about myself, because I have no idea what that means for the fate of my uterus!

My rant: I move in (college) on the 25th...and I'm so not ready yet in terms of having what I need bought. I still need to buy a better chair for there, a microwave, moblie internet card thing so I can get wireless in my room and not pay 80 bucks for it. My futon is lost in the mail too as it seems it never reached the shipping place. My frig is not suppose to come until the sept. 6th now (I picked August 26th but seems that didn't work out).
I haven't even started packing for this trip, which I live two hours from my college. I haven't read any book in awhile nor have I done anything really productive over my summer. People say I'm going to 'die' from all the studing I will have to do for college, but I don't think it will be that bad...( I have 18 credit hours).

Hee, no. Not my sister's.
Mine. I had one. Three weeks ago. My niece shoved a chair into me and I started bleeding... and then I wasn't pregnant anymore.

I'm sorry. My wife had one way before we got married. It sucked, because she shouldn't be ABLE to have more kids, and I have no biological ones, so it was a one in a million shot.
