Absolutely no clue. It started as a general discomfort.

I've done that before, a few times. Had to go to the doctor cause of it even cause it hurt so bad and I could barely move at all. You don't realize how much the muscles in your back and shoulders are affected when you do things until every tiny movement of them hurts.

Macs are such a censor.gif ing scam. The same game that I got for my PC for $30 cost my friend $55, and the main reason we bought it was because we wanted to play it with each other, and we can't because Macs are such epic failures that they can't even manage simple tasks like that. I couldn't believe the crowd of people in the Mac store either, tons of mislead sheep who are tripping over each other to pay too much for a product they can't even use on most of the computers in the world. Apple has quite a censor.gif ing scam going for them.

Apple's PR is brilliant. People think Vista is still crash-prone because of Apple. People think Vista isn't just prone to malware, but that hackers all over the world get a notice when you install Vista so they can hack your computer. They make no mention of the increasing proliferation of Mac malware that stems from their growing market share. Funny how you think your OS is hacker-proof when no one cares enough to try, then you stop talking about it when you realize you're wrong. People will buy Macs on image alone. This isn't to say that Macs are junk, because they aren't, but they're sure not the "solution" to anything Microsoft-related.

I have no idea how good modern macs are but my brother's new computer with Vista went belly up after about 3 whole days through no readily apparent fault of ...anyone's. Ended up going for Linux.

Quests which I just can't complete. I'm looking for a motive to implicate Baalran, I have everything else, and I just can't find it. Furthermore, the quest (apparently) hasn't reset for months, so I can only assume no-one else has either.

Is there normally a way to force a reset, e.g. a certain number of failures?

gas is $3.99 in Kentucky right now.

My dad told me he saw it for $4.19 somewhere when he was out one day, and on his way back home it was $3.99. He asked why it had dropped 20 cents in an hour, and the person working there said they got a call that they had to lower it.

Our Governor and Attorney general are coming down pretty hard on price gouging, I haven't seen it for over $4 anywhere.

Same here. The Attorney General said he was gonna throw the book at folks if they price gouged. After that first day, I haven't seen or heard of one above $3.99 here either. But I haven't seen one below it either. laugh.gif

The price went up because of the hurricane was coming.

The price went down because the hurricane is gone and it only damaged like 10 of the oil drills (out of hundreds)

Price shouldn't go up before the hurricane hits, that is price gouging, because they haven't had to pay for that gas yet.

And yet, it hasn't. The afternoon the prices all jumped, gas was $3.49 a gallon. It went to $3.99 (and higher at some stations, but they dropped it right quick when the AG started screamin) in the space of three hours and it's still there now.

Nope, the anticipation of a lower supply is enough to raise the price because of speculation.

Speculation or not...it's still illegal. The gas station or retailer that sells the gas bought that gas for a certain amount of money, then they mark it up to make a profit. There is absolutely no logical reason for them to mark up their SAME SUPPLY AGAIN before a hurricane hits. That incoming hurricane did not influence the price of that supply of gas they have, unless the gas company come to them and said "Btw, there's a hurricane coming, you owe us more money for that last bit of gas you bought from us." They raise the prices because they can brush it off as being because of the hurricane and hope no one will notice.

If the hurricane really did cause a drop in supply, then their -next- shipment should be a higher price. Because, like you said, if nothing really gets damaged then why ever raise the price?

That's the reason so many attorney generals are coming down on the gas retailers.

I actually heard somewhere that they do that, though I'm not sure whether to believe it or not. chin.gif

School. I guess it's nice, I seem to've become popular in the last year. Apparently, everyone in your year knows your name when you switch into an AP class because 'you're bored and want a challenge' (paraphrased). I'm basically getting into the swing of things all over again.

Because of my schedule change last year into advanced courses, I ended up getting a separate lunch from my friends, so I just ate alone and then scurried off to the library to work/read/help out/relax for the entire last semester. It's basically the same this year.

I'm also taking AP Chemistry this year. It's hard as hell. I didn't take regular Chemistry the previous year, so every day I have to learn some new math concept (not my strong area) and sometimes I wonder if I'm going to be able to pull through the class and get a 4/5 on the actual exam.

There's one key difference between my current year and my previous year. In my previous year, all my teachers would deliberately call on me for questions and similar activities. Me getting these questions right where others don't lead to my reputation for being smart. This year, it'll probably turn out the same, but it currently doesn't seem to. The teachers end up calling on everyone that isn't me. Some of the discussions are -really- engaging, too. I seem to've just got this...thing...where it's hard to just speak up and interject in a discussion until someone actually turns their attention or asks something of me. confused.gif So, whenever the teacher is asking things in class, I just quietly follow along, and I can't help but get the interpretation that, as awesome as these teachers are, they think I'm dumb. unsure.gif

Also, in short order:
-Cats not knowing when to shut up because I'm not letting them outside at three in the morning.
-Not being a Library TA again this year. That job was -so- fun. sad.gif
-Half of my classes being capable of putting me to sleep. I mean, I'd normally care about these subjects (Algebra, U.S History, Spanish), but..damn, I just don't at the moment for whatever reason.
-I always want to play Spore despite how much of a disappointment it's been.
-These headphones behind tight and crushing my ears. Ow.

I was really sick this morning, but university is expensive so I decided, no matter what I'd go to my first class at least since it was my Major. I did, whoa, big mistake. I was falling asleep through out the entire thing (lucky for me, we only discussed Longatude and latitude and repeated the shape of the earth again for the third time) and I was also feeling like at the same time, I was going to throw up. Yum. I knew part of it had to do with I was hungry, but my body wasn't accepting much, if any, food so I was just not in good shape. laugh.gif

So, while I'm like this, the professor (whom, I really really do like but today was just wow) just kept calling on me. It's something to do with the left side of the room, those who are particularily interested and active in the class all seem to sit on that side so he's just always calling us.

In the end, I let my body make the decision for me and after my first class I immediately went to the financing office to clear up the whole cheque fiasco. And my feelings when I got there and was dealing with the lady was thus: wtf.gif , especially after it was requested that the cheques not be sent through if they wanted their money because they weren't working. But that's all over, thankfully someone was lazy in the office and forgot to grab the envelope they were in (the computer system said they'd been sent out awhile ago, I'm not even being mean here).

Then grocery shopping, where I decided to treat myself and rent a game for the Wii, Umbrella Chronicles. Which I found was great and fun, I don't play many shooters but I have a soft spot for Resident Evil games. Then, I get to the third big boss (leech-guy, god knows what the real name of it is) and the cutscene to introduce it plays. And the game freezes! Saying it has an error, I go okay, maybe it's just dirty. It is a rental after all. I look, there's a gouge that extends pretty deeply into the disc. sad.gif Been learning a bit about CD's and how they work and how minor scratches are tending to not effect reading so much, but this.. was deep enough to scratch out the 1's and 0's pits.

I'm quite sad, my week of shooting zombies and sparking up naked zombie conversations is over until I go out wednesday to buy the game. crying.gif

So, I'm playing on my SNES emulator, and I find a few games I hadn't noticed before. Many from Squaresoft, that they decided Americans wouldn't like. Like a game based on the Dragon Warrior series, but played like Chocobo Dungeon 2 for the PS1. Or some based on the Gundam series. Star Ocean 1. Many others.

Things that TOTALLY should have come out for the SNES.

Woot for new games to play!!
EDIT: Sorry, meant for RAVES.
