Reject clients ftw!

I hate how I can't fight for shit, I can't cure anything, and I pretty much die like a newbie in any combat, yet because I'm a minister I feel obligated to go and try anyways. I'm down 20% at level 79, almost to the point of losing my level because of all of these stupid raids.

I also hate how when the city only has newbs on, Celest decides to raid Nil, the sea, and Earth. And you know what, I'm going to sit here and let it happen because at this point all of this conflict ruins my enjoyment of the game, so if I just ignore it I can continue to have fun , though then I'll feel like an asshole.

Celest is composed of scrub fighters, the only time they can raid is when no one is around to defend..hopefully its not their claim to fame. Also what is lytin? a mac client or something? If not and you need help getting a zmud I can hook you up.

Can you help me get one? Can't find any 'free' Zmud clients anymore except for that oooooold file in the website

Now you have to go insult people. Every community I have seen has raided when there is little opposition to deter them. Insulting one community that does it when your own does it too, is a bit hypocritical... Don't you think?

Actually, I can speak for myself and Daevos atleast when I say that we made sure there was plenty on to defend against us. Yes, this seems illogical but raiding when there is no opposition is no fun, its a simple concept. I don't consider anyone who waits until no one is around to defend talented in the least bit, I don't care who it is. If it was celestians at the time who did that then yeah, I call them scrubs, if it was Murphy who waited until no one was around I would call him a scrub too.

I've stated that your own community has raided when few were around plenty times in the past. You gave a general insult to the people in Celest based on them doing it. Will you now call your own community scrubs for doing it too? It does not matter if one or two of you do not (though it is debatable on the names you dropped), because more than one or two do not raid from Celest, yet you made a general insult about the entire community.

Sure, Magnagora is scrubs, same with Glomdoring and Serenwilde. You should all try to be more like me and play fair. It isn't about winning, its about having fun.

On that note, a brief rant. If you can't raid an organization when there is actual members around TRAIN HARDER. Don't wait till no one is around to exact your 'revenge', this goes for everyone. Its pathetic to think people constantly do this, its a majour turn off for novices, or 'newbs' and will continue to be. Yes, Geb is right it was dirty of me to insult the whole org but its damn annoying to see that is what lusternia has been reduced to. So man up and get some skill, this goes for everyone who does this.

There are plenty that do try to play fair. My main point is that you should insult those who are actually the culprits, and not just throw out a general insult on an entire community.

You added in the rest, which is fine by me. I agree with your second paragraph to a certain extent. I also understand that not everyone is going to be good at combat, because his or her enjoyment of the game is not derived from it.

Lyntin is an open-source client written and extensible in Python. It's the best I've found for Linux. I miss zMUD, but I'm looking forward to getting something set up that will work better than what I had. It'll just take time.

Regarding the whole raiding while you're at an advantage by numbers..

Everyone does it. To claim that one side does it more is just ignorant. We'll raid Nil if we know we can demesne and not have a stronger force come up against us. Magnagora raided Celestia last night because there were like... two-three fighters around from Celest, and a lot more from Magnagora. I was actually the only Celestian on the plane for a while.
