It's hilarious, and sad, that our house rules have survived a whole of which it kinda.. failed the weekend I was out every day with my grandmother/busy with school and wasn't creating any of the mess.

I want to wash my dishes, because they're sitting in my room. But the sink is such a disgusting mess (I do not want to even -know- wtf is in that one bowl beside the sink, it's just effing gross! And it's been there a few days. ) and full so no chance of it and I'm just not touching those dishes.

Okay, I have now reached a state where I am shifting through the forums I visit, ranting on a public forum because just typing it out on a document ain't enough.

Being assaulted by a family member in and itself ain't the worst thing that can happen. There are several factors involved you know. I mean, first of all, it's my brother, and to expect him to be reasonable and calm, even respectful, now that's just plain lunacy. And sure it is okay for him to threathen to kill me. After all, his girl-friend just broke up with him, and since I was kept out of it purposefully, I am surely a reasonable target. Not that he can kill me. I mean, despite his strength, he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paperbag. Now, it is very miffing that mom blames me in all of this, but I've gotten used to it. I no longer expect more of her. Well, or so I thought. What really makes me mad though, is when she too decides to assault me, and then tries to make me the violent one when I'm forced to push her away from me.

The thing about violent family is that, to them, they're never at fault.

Unless you can stand up for yourself physically, I'd suggest you get out of there. Being threatened to be killed isn't going to make any of your days happy, if you stay there.

People who for some reason, set off the ing fire alarm in the dorms. I live on the top floor so I get the fun of walking all the way down and up the stairs in a set of flip flops because I couldn't find my shoes fast enough.

I had to walk around the office all day today in my socks cause the rain soaked through my sneakers this morning. Like, all the way through. They're still all wet. Which means, when it's time to go home, I'm gonna have to put on cold, wet shoes.
